Can the SCT tuner I bought for the truck, read/erase diagnostic codes?

Yes it should you just don't get any data. Don't know if give generic codes or not. I still use my old hypertech on my wifes Dakota just as a code reader.

yes it will read and erase codes.

Likely an X2 and should do whatcha need easily

Just checked yesterday.

It does not read the codes on the Viper. I get an error message. Or, i get a blank screen.

Guess i'll be buying one of those orange scanners on ebay.
