i thought i heard that as long as the sct was returned to stock & hadn't been reinstalled in more than 3 different vehicles/times, that it would be fine...... not too sure about the vin having to be programmed in, doesn't the sct read that off the pcm when loaded into it?....... :dontknow:TNVIPER said:My understanding is that you have to return your vehicle to stock and then just have the new owner's VIN installed by a dealer??:dontknow:

the sct is generic, the tunes make it year/cab specific..... i was told by roe that they would send 3 tunes for ~$200.00 if you don't like the ones provided with the sct you're buying if it has them.....
