hey guys sorry i have not been around much i have been very busy. this weekend i will be going to catilina island in CA and finishing my scuba certitication. we are staying on a boat :captain: where we wake up get suited up and jump in the water. we will have 4 or five dives in on this weekend trip. should be a great time. this will be my first time in the open water but cant wait to be certified. now we just need a smilie with a scuba mask :)

anyone here scuba certified? where do you dive? :dontknow:

I'm scuba certified...long time i did it... MUST finish my boat ...:eek: :D :D :D

I mostly dived in south France.... liked the most the ship wrecks... have still portholes which i hammerd out of wrecks on bottom...:D

RULE #1 : never dive alone.

I didn't do anything else :eek: :D :D :D
 
Yep cert here...Padi, open water, advanced open water , Nitrox , Rescue , Dive Master , Working on Technical and wreck/cave licneces next :)... ummm i dive all over , hawaii, cuba, cauzamel mexico, California , Key Largo, ft lauderdale,central florida, lake superior " ontario " , ummmmm i think thats the list, dove 50+ times in the riefs off of key largo etc.
the best part of diving is after you get over the " view" is the Hunt , lobster and spear fishing thats when the fun begins.... if you go to my webpage www.venomous.biz and if u can make it to the last minute of the 4 minutes of the video you can see my shark dive in cuba ..
 
I have my advanced SCUBA diver, cave dive II (working on III this summer), deep diver (and EAN), rescue diver, search and recovery diver, training assistant, and a buch of decompression training stuff. My grandpaw is a dive master, so I get to go alot with him. Other than Texas the only place I have been is cayman. The flower gardens off galv. is my specialty!!!!!
 
Just PADI open water for now. Going to add nitrox and advanced open water this summer. For view diving generally Cayman Islands or Bahamas. Spear fishing off the coast of Sc and Ga. Its one of many things I wish I could do more of.

Thats pretty sweet Patrick! The only diver certification I have is a Muff Diver Cert.:D:D:D

If you get around the SD area call me and we can meet up, & I will buy a hunk of burnt dead diseased cow.
 
me and momma tried it, i got ceriftied momma got denied:( seems a history of having a punctured lung doesnt do well at depth:p

so now she jsut scubas on the kiddy pool:D

NAUI certified 4/13/64 member #7076, NAUI instructor 6/13/68, a few other certs also, hard hat, hyperberic chamber tech, mixed gas and saturation diver, and Certified Welder :D :D :D
Any one else a member of the 10 Atmosphere Club?????????????

Almost...

320 feet is the deepest I have ever been and that was when I got my EAN cert.

now CHAPEAU Jerry... :rock: my deepest dives were around 30-40 m....:eek: :eek:
 
congrats!! i've been certified for 16 years and have many many trips to catalina island... lots to see there.. Have Fun

yes..pitty... but i had a punctured lung also... 2 weeks hospital and alot of pain...due a Ralley race accident at the time ...didn't kept me from diving :D :D :D :D :D :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant:
 
congrats! your gonna love the open water im cert with padi..open..advance..nitrox..wreck..and cave diving..and i love every second of it!..i mostly dive in mexico ...
