I'll helpo you best I can although I have not cammed my truck as of this minute. COMP CAMS is the leader now days in cam manufacture and alot of the other big names companies ( not all) have comp grind cams to thier specs. ALot of companies do the R&D neccessary to provide a camshaft profile that will produce valve events you need for N2O, FI, or just a N/A build. I am not positive on our specs factory but I imagine somewhere in the low 200s duration with about .490-510 lift and probably about a 118 LSA. A new cam for a N/A motor will be somewhere around a 218-230 duration with about .530-.550 lift and around a 112-114 LSA. Definitely would now its cammed.
Erson may be around but I doubt they would have any R&D involved with the Viper Motor? Could be wrong?
As far as other items to go along with the cam install, you would need matching valve springs, pushrods ( hardened) and not sure about spring seats, but I like to use Titanium retainers, and t good check over your rocker arms would be nice. Lifters are not usually neccessary but depending on mileage not a bad idea, but the heads have to be removed. Then might as well get some head work done to work on sync with the camshaft profile. And the list goes on...............................

Try Crower Cams they have always been one of the favorites for cams , rods and other related parts

Sig Erson's first really big win( as a sponser), put his name in lights, was Isky's top guy before that.
Wes Evans and his 67 Chevell from Saticoy Shell in Ventura Ca.( won the winter nationals back then) Yettie was there crewing for Chuck Wentworths B sports Stingray 2nd place lost to factory backed Cobra ( would have won but the tires ( 10" slicks) never got there, ran on 6" cheater slicks
Changed name ( Erson Cams)and became a Mr. Gasket brand, this is an old number from 07

You really need to work with a competent builder or cam manufacture to select the proper cam for you. There are many variables, and honestly some people on here know there stuff but some dont. I wouldnt take advice from a forum for cam selection unless someone has a specific build that works well and that you are copying. Also, catalog selection cams generally are not the best choice, a custom grind specific to you is the way to go.

Try to decide before you even start looking just how much power you want to realistically make and budget accordingly.

There is no ONE cam that is going to make a bunch more power than the stock cam with the stock heads.

There is a lot of power in proper cylinder heads and cam choice.

If you choose aftermarket heads or ported o.e.m. heads, you can then decide which cam can be used to work well with them.

On the topic of heads- More Flow does NOT automatically mean More Power.
