They are marketed as the TWEEL.
The tires and wheels are a single unit. The rim is not steel but a polimer/ plastic intigrated into the tire to soften the suspension... No need to mount the tire. :dontknow:

my boss actually tested the tweel years back before the media caught on and he said it was a cool idea but they are too noisy. he'd rather stick the tradional wheels and tires.

They are some tough tires....polymer is supposed to be stronger then steel per a PSI....many gun grip are made of polymer
