DOGS LOVE TRUCKS, MEDUSA, NY
after long thought and many try's at repairs it time to say goodbye. this is a great truck, the paint still shine bright firetruck red. there are a few drawbacks to this truck though and some damage to repair.
i bought this truck over 2 years ago, and have towed anything and everything with it. i have now broken the rear end twice trying to unstick things.
the fist time it cost me 900 right before i drove to flordia to fix it. this time someone else can do it...
1995 GMC suburban 6.5 TURBO DIESEL!
4 speed auto with overdrive.
4wd

the good....
the diesel runs strong.
the transmission shifts like new
the ride is super!
this truck is actually a 1 ton in disguise!
the wheels are 8 lug and the frame is off a 1-ton
the transmission is also off a 1ton.
NEW STARTER
160 amp alternator
10,000 on new mudding tires!

the bad...
it needs glowplugs
it needs a new spider or new rear end
the left rear barn door is stuck shut and the right barely works
it needs a new idler arm sometime soonish
there is an oil pressure sensor under the fuel filter that needs replaced, i am including the $60 sensor but i have not put it in yet.

the ugly...
it has a few dents and scrapes on the left rear side
there is no frame rust. this truck spent its life going back and forth to Florida by the previous owners.
there is surface rust on the frame now.
there is surface rust on the wheels now.
the is a small amount of rust on the left rear barn door.
the windshield is broken

.... everything works good. a/c is not cold, needs new orifice tube.
lights work.
25X,XXX miles.
you can have the vin if you ask for it, it might have been in a wreck before i got it as the drivers door is not the same as the rest meaning it has either been repainted or replaced, also the same with the drivers rear door.
its about as nice a diesel as you can get for

$3500 buy it now!

here are the photos.

you must have owned a diesel at some point. its true. seen them go on e-bay for 5grand with this many miles on it some for sale with 375K like i say if someone needs a plow truck this one is better than a pickup because of the extra weight of the back end. the thing plows thru snow up to 36" deep without getting stuck.
i loved this truck and it is the second longest time i have owned a car. the first was my buick for 4 years. i dont hold cars that are junk. my shortest car ownership was 2 days. i got a ford escort for $500 and hated it so much i crashed it into a dumpster at 50 to see if it would keep going.... the dumpster rolled onto the car and crushed the roof, and made a mess.... i was 17.

anyhow its a good truck and 2 years and 50k ago i paid 7500 for it.

if you are tryin to sell the truck - i think it would have cleaned it up 1st b4 i took the pictures and posted them.....

i will rip out the motor and tranny and have the truck crushed before i spend one more minute working on that truck. too much sweat and tears in it now.

BUY IT NOW, clean, $5000.

Yep I owned a diesel and I miss it. You may regret getting rid of it unless you plan on getting another.
Like others said, you may get better response to selling if it was cleaned up inside n out just a tad, besides that the diesel is at half it's lfe right now!

Pride of ownership man...:(

You want an extra $1500 for cleaning your own mess? I think that truck was awesome at some point. I've never seen such a heavy duty suburban. I've also never seen such a dirty SRT-10 like the one in the background. Good luck with the sale.

Not sure it would make it back to ootah, good luck on the sale

Dude, why would you try to sell a rig like that without cleaning it up first? That last pic is a disgrace. What was the point of showing us that disgrace? Good luck with the sale, you're gonna need it.

i'll give you 500, as it needs more then 1500 to get it back to decent condition....

diesels will last for ever if taken care of (oil and fuel) filters changed they dont like sooty oil and fuel pressure of 20,000 psi plus ,clean filters are important

if i dont sell it on ebay next week i will convert my boat to diesel.
get a marination kit for it. or i can rebuild the engine and sell it for 5grand.
as far as being dirty, it hasnt moved in 3 months. and i have been using it for bs storage.
