Damn I can't believe it's been 6 years....remember those we've lost today and those who fight for us!!! :(

:dito:
Hard to believe...we are doing a moment of silence today at the Firehouse...twice... at the specific times when each tower fell.
I will be at Swiftwater Class...so I'm going to miss it... but I certainly will NEVER forget the day, or those that lost their lives.
It has changed the world as we know it.

AMEN for those who are gone but not forgotten..
Steve

Unfortuneately they are forgotten by many in this country, where the memory of the majority is only as long as the time span that the news reports it.

For some of us however, we will never forget these things.

At least in my mind, the War on Terror, has taken the same path as the War on Drugs. Both are a waste of time and money. And in the case of the War on Terror, it is also wasting the lives of many or our countries brave young men and women.

Whenever politicians get involved, it seems like all they can do is F*ck it up.

Besides, I can never forget this day. It's my mothers birthday. She turns 89 today. Just need to remember to call her later before I get to busy at work.

Happy birthday to your Mother.

I concur in your thoughts about the war on drugs, terrorism, politicians and remembering those things that count.

The GREAT governor of Mississippi has ordered all flags at half staff today in remembrance of those people who lost their lives that day,and their families. We pray for their families and those still hurting from that terrible act of terrorism.

I always imagine the horrific choice many people made between burning in the fire or jumping to their death. But I surge with American pride when I think of the courage of many of the passengers on flight 93. "Lets Roll"!

Never!

Many HAVE forgotten. In the days following the attacks almost everyone said let's go kick some asses. Many have now lost their resolve.

Now that we are kicking ass, and doing it well..too many people are bitching and moaning about how it's going (or how they falsely perceive that it's going). If your only info on the war is the nightly news you are not seeing the whole picture.

Those who are on the front lines honorably defending our country know that it's going well. They still need our support, not our whining over political differences.

I haven't forgotten. Keep kicking ass.

Rant off.

I completely agree - NEVER FORGET.

HONOR THE FALLEN!

I still remember where I was and what I was doing when all this went down. I was working for an architectural firm, and I had internet access. I was talking to a friend on instant messenger and he had told me. At first everyone thought it was an accident, then the 2nd plane crashed. I remember trying to log onto cnn.com and all their HTML was disabled and everything was in plain text from their server being overloaded with badwidth. It was a terrible day, indeed.

Let's never forget that tragic day.

God Bless those who have passed & the families they had no choice in leaving behind.
Those at war are fighting not only for America but the free world itself.....the sooner these deadbeats burn in hell, the better.

All the best from New Zealand. :)

I will never forget! I hope our country keeps going after them scumbags that plan this kind of shit.

Bill.

We were living in Long Beach, NY on 9/11.
I will *NEVER* forget that day.
Ever.

I'll never forget watching CNN as a desperate man called the network trying to get the fire doors open on his floor so he and the others trapped could get out of the building.

I'll never forget the smell.

I'll never forget the fires that burned at Ground Zero for more than 100 days.

I'll never forget watching the smoke rise from Manhattan in the weeks that followed.

I'll never forget the resolve of the people of NYC.

I'll never forget the kindness of the people of the United States.

I'll never forget the F-16's flying overhead that morning, or the gigantic aircraft carrier floating a mile in front of my house a few days later.

I'll never forget the flat-out bravery of those on Flight 93.

I'll never forget those that stood (and stand) by our side as we hunt down those responsible.
[Yes- it's a hunt. Like what you do with animals. Because that's what we're dealing with.]

I'll never forget about those that had their lives taken that day.

I'll never forget about those who have given their lives since that day.

After recently having gone to ground zero...I can tell you that it's very over powering... I could only stay there for a few minutes and St. Pauls church broke me up :( I went there to pay my respects and it's a sight I will never forget as long as I live....This American will never forget and will never forgive. Phuck em all and feed em fish......God Bless America
