I want to publically thank "Whitesnake" for helping take care of my loud exhaust problem and ticket.

I called Eddie for help and he said he would help. Eddie kept his word and went above and beyond to help me successfully take care of the ticket. All I did was give Eddie the keys and the truck came back a lot quieter for an awesome price.

The exhaust shop was done when they said they would be done. I was imformed of the progress and kept up to date. Their work was top notch and my friend Eddie is also a Top Notch Guy and kept his word on everything.

This is exactly how friendship and business should mix. I wish we had more people like this in the world.

Brad

I also wanted to thank JMB Justin for keeping his word on a timely delivery on all my exhuast parts. Justin got all my parts together and shipped out to me in literally a few days to help me comply with my loud exhaust ticket.

Justin kept me informed of the progress and would highly recommend JMB Justin for any parts that you may need.

I have not been on here as much as a lot of you. It is very time consuming but well worth the knowledge that you obtain while reading through the threads.

But I want to thank everyone that I have talked to, that has provided assistance, advice and posted there issues and problems and the pictures always helped with me.

Steve holden for the fast service , even with a small order felt like I was getting the same treatment. For Stinker's responses and getting me the knowledge. I appreciate this website. I have been on other forums, for my GTO, & 2 Mustangs this truck is a small production even from my wife's lightning. It is like family from what I see and the GTG pictures, and that is what this is all about. Oh and for NANA making it to the PINKS so ppl can see what this truck can do.

This means I have a lot to say...

Yeah this is a great thread. Of course showing character isn’t limited to who provided great service. Friendship and comradely is very important especially among people I would have never otherwise met if it weren’t for the sheer fact that I drove into a Chrysler dealership in 2005. I have a lot of people to thank out there for just being a friend or a shoulder to rest my head on or an ear when I needed someone to talk to. Please keep in mind this list of people isn’t from greatest to the least. Everyone had something to offer me in some way shape or form. I just hope I've made some sort of lasting impact on their lives as they did in mine.

I want to publicly thank :wavey:z-man (Zollie) for being an honest friend and someone who would call me up on a daily basis just to say hello and find out how I am doing..... :dontknow:Just because. I trust z-man 100% with anything. He is a true friend that I know I can call on at any given hour just to bring me a pack of mints if I asked. Thank you z-man for being a great friend and listening:listen: (especially this past December, you know what I am talking about).

I want to publicly thank :five:slow91 (Esh) for also being a great friend as well. I can always trust his honest and to the point opinion to be straight forward and true. AND he is also someone, like z-man, that I can trust to lend a hand to me when I am in need. These two gentlemen are, in my opinion, friends that I will cherish for a lifetime.

OSO, :stupido3:known to me as my buddy James:cheers: from the Dodgetalk forum. He is new to this site but a legend in my eyes. This man owns the only :adore:HEMI that I bow down to. He is also a great friend that I can call upon if I needed him. I hope you all are as lucky as I am to get the opportunity to talk with this cool character or meet him. He's pretty fly :trytofly:for a white guy.

I want to thank :ciao:silverqc (Trey) for also being a great friend and a person I could trust without a second thought. This man will be up for anything even if it doesn’t only benefit him. Trey is cool to the touch and also a person really easy to get along with. Thank you Trey.

I want to thank :thefinger:The Sickness(Mikey):bird: and his lovely wife:girl: for being such awesome people. There was a low point in my life that I experienced a couple years ago.. and that’s when I learned the value of our members here on this great forum. Mikey and his wife lent me a caring ear as we talked and talked. I truly felt much better after conversing with them. And it didn’t matter what time I called, they were always willing to hear me out and offer great advice. I will never forget that.

Which brings me to :flute:FSTJACK (Mr. Jack). I learned that this is a truly intelligent man with a talent for words. Jack took the time from his busy schedule to call me and check if I am doing better during that bad time in 2006. Again, this is something that I will never forget. I wish we had more time to talk and visit with one another during your 2006 trip to Houston.

:girl:Wifey (Denise) has always been a friend to me. We never met personally but I feel as if I’ve known her for many, many years.:dancing: She has always took the time out of her post whoring to single me out and acknowledge me, thus making me feel like a significant part of VTCoA from the beginning. I would do anything for Wifey. :handkiss:Denise you ROCK.

Riff62 (Matt):D is a genuine man that has offered me his friendship without even knowing me. We haven’t met personally but I do hope to meet this man in the near future. I pray I can offer just as great a friendship as he’s offered me. I hope you are feeling better Matt. We really need to talk when I get back to Houston.

Blaine@PSI:burnout: is also someone that I cannot forget. I can trust Blaine with honest technical advice that is valuable to me. He is not the type to talk a lot but hey, that’s cool. Blaine is a person I consider a great friend that I met a few years back. I hope to see more of Blaine and his awesome vehicles in action.

Stinker (Tony):fisheye:, I don’t know why you have always been so cool to me, but bro I appreciate it.:sheep: I can’t wait to meet up with you this September. Our meeting has been long overdue dude.

WAZZSUP:)thank you for coming to my aide when I needed a good photoshop done to figure out how SOMETHING looks (still going to be done). WE know what I am talking about.

Eddie and Tidnab thanks for all of those meetings on XBOXLIVE killing time and foes together and kicking my azz too:damnmate:. I look forward to more CoD4 when I get back to the states.

FSTBLKSRT (Juan):hello: is a Houston dweller who is the very first member I met in person way back in the pre-VTCoA days from the NFFF site. What is cool about this meeting was that, YES we connected because of his black ’05 RC and my silver ’04 RC, but I learned that he works for the same company I do. I don’t know if our paths would have crossed other than SRT-10’s (since our paths haven’t crossed at work yet) but I am glad I met him. Some believe he is a phantom or a figment of my imagination because I could never get him out to meet everyone. Juan is a mostly silent family man and rarely comes to VTCoA, but he IS out there despite his absence. But silverqc knows him (Juan introduced me to silverqc) and faslane505 has run the Houston freeways with me and Juan. JUAN if you are reading this give me a shout dude, it’s been a while.

Roktman (Dave):shakehands: is a unique individual and former law man that has also shown me his friendship. I don’t know what went down here on this site to make Roktman leave, but he left as a friend to me and I have never had trouble with him. Dave was courtious enough not to leave me stuck with the extra Houston Astros game tickets in 2006. He left Houston as my friend. Thank you for calling me when you did Dave. It was when I was on my way to Galveston to be sad and alone with my thoughts, and you called to show me people do care.

Georgia Ken:top:, a law man and a cool guy to be around. We had a few laughs and fun while riding in my truck running down Westhiemer and listening to some loud classic rock back in 2006. I hope to meet up with you again sometime Ken. He probably won't admit it but I coined the name "Georgia Ken" for him while he was here. I just started calling him that for obvious reasons.

Texas Yellow Fever (Steven Holden):ridinghorse:an important part of VTCoA and someone I show great respect for. I hope to be like this man when I am older with wisdom, toys and a beautiful wife.

Faslane505 (Josh) is cool and funny:laugh:. Josh is another Houston dweller that I had the honor in meeting and hanging around. This is also another individual I could trust to be there when I need him. He is usually busy but when he isn’t he is down to hang out and share some good times.

BigRed460 (Zach):itsme: is a young man that lives on the other side of town but AGAIN someone I could look to for help with anything I need. We don’t get to hang around much due to the distance but when he is there I know I am with someone that has my back if called upon... This is one hell of a driver:driver: for his age.

I want to also publicly thank :alberteinstein:prof and :hmpf:Silverback for being two men that I can respect. Prof is very smart and always has something interesting to say. Basically when Prof speaks/writes I am paying close attention to his words in hopes I can harness some of his intelligence. Silverback (John) is like poppa. He’s my furry friend I wish I could have the chance to toast bananas with. Truly a major part of VTCoA. These guys secretly keep me in line.:damnmate:

Sanchoba:proud: always addresses me by my first name as if we knew one another although, sadly, we never met. You're here in Texas bro so we should have hooked up long ago. Let's make it happen on our way to Panama City this year dude.

Boomer (Gary) for coming through when I needed a clutch upgrade quick fast and in a hurry. The same goes for anything else I purchased from him. I was never made to wait and he was always available for me when I :call2:called him with a question,:call: no matter how simple or lame. I don’t know why he is no longer here (I guess I wasn’t hanging around in here nearly enough as I should to find out) but Gary is, to me, a trustworthy individual that I would do business with again if given the chance. Thanks Gary, you are missed.

Last but certainly never least in our hearts NBT (Ken).:congrats::star: I will never forget meeting you Ken and I know I better see you again brother. Ken is by far one of the most trusted and respected members of this site. No one can challenge my opinion of Ken as being someone of true integrity.

I’m sure I will remember more people as my Norwegian day drags on because right now it’s too early in the morning for my memory to work very well. :party:ALL OF VTCoA is my family I don’t care who you are. I may not have gotten along too well with some :motz:(definitely a small handful) but there is no perfect family and personalities have the tendency to clash at times:eviltongue:. I wouldn’t change any of you.

The whole idea of this thread is to do 1 story at a time. I love what Venom Power said and feel free to post several stories at once. You can start with the first one that comes to mind.

Anthony and the guys in houston all good men and friends.

I remember being on the verge of buying my truck and at the same time there was a GTG down at BRATS house. Well I bought my truck and two weeks later I was down south drinking with the likes of BRAT, ROZ, NBT, BLACK1, MUTT, TURTLE, 01VIPERGTS/ACR, JULIE, COURTNEY AND a crap ton of other people. Thanks for welcoming me!!!

Truly great people and with me only having my truck for 2 weeks, they made me feel like I was a part of the crew. Brat gave me a hat, cooked for us, and invited us back for the next pool party! Very good people.

Hmmm... or did they just want a place to sit? :D

Thanks to eddie102870 and stinker for allowing my poor ass to run my truck with you guys at the se gtg. I gave them what money i had any they were great to make sure i didnt feel left out.

Thanks perk_1405 for the $100 dollar K&N intake delivered in great condition in 2 days.

Thanks Stingray for hooking me up with my build date on such short notice. Got it printed on Texas Yellow Fevers dash plaque

Thanks Texasyellowfever for the VTCOA rear window sticker and the kick ass steering wheel emblem and dash plaque. All mailed the same day i ordered.
I had a dumb idea trying to approve upon an already great product by spraying it with a few coats of automotive grade clear. It done some wierd stuff to the chrome and was ruined. One simple PM to this guy and the same day he made me new ones and was painting it himself for me. For FREE! Wtf! I know for a fact this guy isnt hurting for business enough to do this for me. He just went way out of his way to help me fix what I screwed up and charged me nothing. I recieved it in the mail painted in perfect condition in 3 days. Cant thank you enough Texas Yellow Fever. Best car/truck club ive heard up keeping venders like this. Keep doing what your doing man! Thanks

Eddie102870 sent me a sweet Fuse box cover from Justin and wouldn't take anything in return! :elefant:

I've met a lot of awesome people here, I hope to make more GTGs so i can place faces with names.:p

My thanks goes out to Tim.

Thank you for helping me through one of the most difficult years of my life.

Speaking of names with faces, here are some pictures I collected over the years showing some of the great members I mentioned in post #5 of this thread...

Once upon a GTG in PCB, I brought a grill with the intent to cook lunch for everyone as an act of kindness and respect for being welcomed to this great forum. Well, low and behold, Tony(Stinker) starts going around and collecting money from eveyone while they were eating. Even, asked me for money! LOL. then when I reached for my wallet, Tony said nevermind and ran off. Then I knew what was going on. Tony walked up to me and handed me a wad of cash and said everyone appreciated lunch. I tried to decline the money and told Tony to give it back and he said "impossible". Well later that night when I got home and was cleaning out my pockets, I pulled out this wad and cash and HOLY CRAP, it was $143.00! I had no idea it was that much.

So to all who attended: THANK YOU! I made out like a bandit!

And come Sept. there will be $143.00 worth of alcohol bought for yall!
