EXACTLY.. That goes to show the major difference had Chrysler came straight out the box with a 6 spd. instead of F@&*in' around for the first year..

100K with only 725 HP. Something doesn't add up. The Challenger just looks bad a$$ but the Shelby Mustang is more reasonably priced. Why does Dodge always cost so much more?

I think the $100K price tag is from the continued momentum from a hugely hyped SRT-8.. That's all..

Yes, that Challenger with the AOD would have done better with maybe a couple of upgrades on the tranny or a whole 6 speed swop. I have seen a Super Snake, they are impressive, but yes 100K for that Challenger is not it. But I still love the Challenger, but if I got a ACR yea it would smoke them both, no doubt about it. But, speed is speed and there is always a MOD to get her done faster.
