jsut dropped in at the ups store to price

box 40lbs, 35 x 6 x 6

shipped regular to austrilia

$500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now granted, everything going there is air, and they take care of the taxes and tarrifs, but DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Send it by USPS, probably less than half that.

Yeah...USPS is generally way cheaper to furin places......but you saying the CalTracs weigh 40LBs???? ......heck, I may take mine off to save weight...

I told him usps is less than half of that , but he wanted them yesterday so I priced it,

but they aitn a full 40, I think shipping wight is 36? if not mistaken, I woudl have to look again,
but man I was freakin shocked!

if it goes ups it stays in ups hands until it gets to the customer

so they keep track from point A to point B

but with usps when it leaves the states they really have no idea where it is at from there

You can get a tracking number with USPS also.

yeah I usually do, but when they leave the states they dont work any more.

that what I use to ship to folks like carlwalaski and all the guys in germany, and when you check the tracking number it jsut says transit until it reaches its destination, heck sometimes I dont even get that
