Should I? Custom Made Twin Exhaust System?

if you put in a really heavy cam it will have a tiny bit of v8 rumble to it.. my buddie has an 05 viper with custom duals so they dont join anywhere .. with a heavy cam.. and at idol it has a tiny bit of rumble kinda like a v8 neat...... i think the problem with the custom duals that you are thinkng of .. is every hemi in town has it.... i think the single side duals kind of sets it apart from the hemi...... so ppl know its different...well thats my opinion anyway

i ran 3 in pipe from the headers to the outside of the frame rail and ran them our just in front of the rear tires. no cats and magnaflow round straight through mufflers. its f*ck%n loud but thats the way i wanted it.i did run electric cut outs but is sounds wierd. i like the way it sounds but it may need hi flow cats put on it so i wont get a ticket its that loud. ill try to get a clip uploaded sometime this week.

I have plans to do the same, dual duals on my 05 QC, and have puchased the bumper cut out section off a wrecked truck, to be plastic welded in. I think the look is great, but have never heard the sound from one yet. Let me know if you get it done, and how you ran the pipes.

Thanks everyone for the advice and input. As I said I will tick with BB's exhaust. If the BB isn't what I thought then I may look into the custom 3" pipes. I just want deep, don't mind if it doesn't sound like a V8, just I don't like tinny or ricey like quite a few of these trucks/Vipers do.

i think so too,got the cutouts off ebay stainless 3 in. for around 400.00

Should have asked what make they were. Are they a Y pipe? Also checked out your video. Did you replace the rear bumper when doing the dual side exhaust to cover up the cut-out of the old rear exhaust? I so, what did you go with and do you have any pics? Thanks!
