We here in S Florida have been tossing around the idea of renting a Track for a day or weekend depending on interest, “NOT LIMITED TO FL” we would rent the entire park, including Drag strip and Road course, with this we will have full access to the entire park with Fire, Ambulance, and Flag crew for the road course, with this package we can run in heats on the Road course or how ever we would like to do it. And well you can also run the drag strip until your tires are bald.
The plan was to book this event sometime this fall late before it snows so some of you northern people can drive down and not worry about snow.But also late enough in the season that it has cooled off a little here so the SRT’s will perform at optimum performance. OR if most are not worried about the snow and would risk coming in say January or something just for the shear fact that its 80 degrees out and most of you will be in -80 LOL
The park rents out at $5000.00 a day which isn’t a cheep weekend but say if we could organize 30 trucks to the event it would only be $166 each per day and if we had as few as 20 well that would be about $250 so probably better for a 1 day verses a full weekend rental. And I'm sure I don’t have to point it out but the more vehicles showing up the cheaper it will be. “previous line is for you dummy’s out there or should I say FORD owners ” LOL J.
And since we have updated that map that shows where everyone is located I’m sure for an event like this 30 vehicles would be no issues. We have 25 SRT’s in Florida alone, I also don’t think that we would just have to limit this to SRT’s we could invite our friends out as well with what ever vehicles they have as long as they are willing to pay an extra $100 NON SRT FEE J JOKING .. !!
I was also talking with a couple of our friends here on the site from California and other destinations far from Florida that are willing to come and make a week trip out of it.
So don’t be shy people sign up here and make sure you ask your wife before you give the ok. I also think if we have enough people agreed to this before we rent the track we would have to take a down payment from the members and friends maybe $100 each for a 1 day event and $200 for the full weekend event. Just for the fact that someone has to foot the $5000.00 or $10,000.00 Bill and if no one shows up well I guess they would be screwed for astronomical bill.
Also if we happen to get more interest from the west but don’t want to drive all the way to Florida maybe some can suggest a good track more South Central that will still obviously be nice and warm.

--As soon as we reach 20 people interested and willing to make the drive we will then try to make further plans and finalize things and then reevaluate the situation and see if people can still make it for the dates that are available .. dates will be posted and then if you can or can not make it to a certain date we will then try to pick the date that the most people can make it to and then hope we still have enough people to move forward.. this is just a preliminary inquiry to see who is interested and who would be willing to make the trip.. so don’t hesitate to let me known if you are able to make it
-We will also have our very own race instructor on site to give you some lessons on how to take your baby threw the turns with out having a wreck. Steve Austin will attend and hold a morning class for those who would like some tips and tricks on how to get max performance out of there ride on the race track. Steve was an instructor at Bondurant and has his SCCA license so. Buckle up for the ride. Sit down Shut up and Hold on.

-Ok I’m thinking that this post will be a good way to get a feel for the amount of people interested and I will try to make a running tab of all interested if I have forgotten your name from the list and you have said you are interested please remind me in a PM or some thing and I will put you on the list as soon as I get your msg. Also if you can speak for a friend who does not have PC access or dose not want to sign up to the site to add there name you may do so also as long as they also pay up. After we reach a say 20 people interested in joining the event we will then pick a date and time and require the deposit to book the park.
- If there happens to be enough out of town interest I’m sure that we could locate a hotel or hotels in the area that can range from Ocean side to cheaper motels for those looking to keep the budget at a minimum. Perhaps if we have enough people they would give a VTCOA discount J
-Please indicate in your reply if you are interested in an entire weekend or just the one day event. Please specify which day would be best a sat or sun. If we can get enough people for the entire weekend, or enough people for Saturday and then on Sunday that will work also.. just as long as we can pay the bill, then people may come as they please to one day SUN or SAT .

This is obviously our track with both Drag and Road cource but check out sebring raceway below and see what you like better... now the question is do we rent both tracks one each day road cource on sat and drag srip on sun? or just rent moroso and do road racing for the morning 4 hrs and drag the aft 4 hrs .. if they wont let us rent till 12am.. and if they do.. road cource to 6pm drag to midnight...
.... but then only a one day event...

Jan. 1-2-3, 15, 22-23-24-25-26 and 29. Weekend dates are very hard to come by especially during fall, winter and spring. I have attached are track rental rates for you.
