Took my 04 to the dealership the other day to get my slave cylinder replaced. I have read before on here that alot of you suggest replacing it with the actual viper slave cylinder, so I asked the dealership to order it. Is it true that the only modification is using a .25 shim for the slave to make it work correctly? Thanks.

No shim need for the slave, the 1/4" shim goes between the engine bay firewall and master cyl ...you better get the matched Viper master cyl. and a new clutch while its torn apart.:smokin:

1/4" on the slave, and 1/2-5/8 (depending on your liking) on the master @ firewall.

Do a search..TONS of info :)

Lol...I remember that...good times...good times...:)

You need to run the Viper slave and master, plus the shim kit. We stock these.
