Just interested to see the lists and memories.

My first show was Kansas at the Lehigh County Fair. It was outdoors, festival seating, and a gorgeous August night in 1977 (I think)It was a great show.

We bought one of those "concert kits" at the local headshop the day before. If you've never seen one it was a small, rectangular plastic case which held a small pipe, some screens, a pack of papers, and some matches I think hehe. I'm sure we got good and stoned, but I don't really remember for sure.

Kansas was on their Leftoverture tour, riding a wave of popularity. This was just about as big as they got, at least pretty close to it. It was a great show, well worth the $4.50 ticket price.

My first concert was Led Zeppelin :thrasher: in 75 I think at Madison Square Garden. They made a movie from it:D

mine was Marshall Tucker,Charlie Daniels Band, june of 1976 at the Lakeland Civic Center,in Lakeland Florida that was one hell of a concert.

San Diego Symphony Orchestra early 1950's...was about 10 years old and got an erection from looking at the women with their knees spread to hold their violas.

Remember it very clearly.

Your avi pic is so small, I can't make out who it is.....

Kurt Vonnegut or Jerzy Kozinski.............?

I don't remember my first concert... I may have been playing in it....but I don't know.... Chronology fails me from that era, even though I remember specific events very clearly..... Starting from '67 thee was lots'a acid......Lots and lots of acid...

Do club gigs count.......? Those go back to the early-mid sixties....:dontknow:

I actually did go to one before Kansas now that I think about it. Saw Johnny Cash and the Carter Family with Mom and Dad when I was probably about 7. Unfortunately I don't remember a bit of it, and I never did get to see Johnny Cash again, really wish I had.

Ha! When I was about 6 or 7 my parents took us kids to see Sha Na Na! Hahaha... Doh doh,nt Doh Doh, Good night sweetheart, goooooood niiiight!

After that is was REO Speedwagon in about 84 the Ridin' the Storm Out tour!

I was never really into concerts. I did see John Denver at the amphitheater in Raleigh, NC. Also went to a Jimmy Buffet concert in Raleigh but left after the second song.

It was Kurt...with a K for Kevan...

But it has been changed to an even greater hero.

1995 was the year, if anyone knows these bands it would be amazing
H2O
Snapcase
Sub-Zero
Bouncing Souls
25 Ta Life

NYHC represent...only thing I miss about NYC

Gaelic Park Bronx NY 1969 .Black Sabbath and Mountain. We got there
very early and there was this strange sounding band warming up. We were like WhoTF are these guys? I look at the drum and it reads YES. At the time they were virtually unknown. Can you imagine? All of this for 5 bucks!

Iron Maiden was my second...Used to go to alot of concerts back in the day ;)

U2 in 1986 I think. It was in Las Cruces New Mexico and we shook Bono's hand after the concert. He is really small...had girlie hands. Kinda weird.

Cuz it was free for me - I saw Steven Stills and Manasas in somewhere around 1974 :D
