I have exactly 21 days left with nothing to do before leaving the country again. I'm struggling with stuff to keep me busy and entertained.

Last night I met up with OSO for some steaks. After dinner we both hopped in our SRT-8's and had some fun. His Charger is really quick.

Today I will likely go over to OSO's with #1900 to deal with that POS alarm causing the electrical issues that Dodge installed in her when I bought her. I will try to resist wuile he suggests we head over to Louisiana for some casino action, epsecially with Gustav hanging around the Gulf.

OR, I could stick around the crib and Bar-B-Que again....

Bought the toluene,mineral spirits,Marvel Mystery Oil.Might try that out,too.

this stuff is incredibly high now !!!!! too expensive to play with often

Great night at the track last night. Not only were our tickets free, kids free, but we got free parking too! Can't beat that with a stick.

Sat right at the start/finish for the beginning of the race then moved down to turn 4 right at the bottom. The last crash was right in front of us, then we had about a 100 yard walk to the car and we were out of there without even hitting any traffic! Couldn't have been better. Well, I guess it could have been if Carl would have been able to catch up and beat Kyle. hehehe

I'm painting my hovercraft. So far, got it torn down, sanded down, filled any holes and imperfections, sanded, first coat of primer on.
Now sand, paint, sand, paint, then put it all back together again........

It is a Scat Hovercraft. It use to be an old rescue craft. When I got it it had the rescue logo on the back, red strobe, and spotlights.

Rotax 582 (65hp). They are used alot in ultralights and snowmobiles. I am currently looking for someone to rebuild it. In Fl all I can find is the ultralight people that want 3k to rebuild it. Not to many snowmobile shops here :laugh:
I found a rebuild kit for it. Might just do it myself. Can't be that different than a 550 kawasaki jet ski motor that I rebuilt. Heck, I rebuilt a 350 Chevy in my boat when I was 16, I think I can do a little Rotax.
