Plus the RCs top gear (6th in RC 4th in QC) is way better suited for cruising, and gets way better gas mileage.

I think the 04's with the 4.10 gear do even better than the 05's with the 4.56 gear.:dontknow:Begood said:Plus the RCs top gear (6th in RC 4th in QC) is way better suited for cruising, and gets way better gas mileage.

Happened to me at the bank too. I got more than just a scrap though. Talk about "jagged edge". SHEESH!!Azmal said:I scraped my first set of aftermarket wheels on a stupid bank drive through, it was so retarded narrow and you had to turn abruptly.

And here's my advice for the day. Don't use anything rougher that 200 grit to polish the knob. It's not worth it.![]()

And I may as well add that I get free lifetime oil changes. Everyone can now go back to hating me.![]()

Stanimal said:you guys need to ligten up on the throttle a lllliittttllleeee bit. i went to albany and back not too long ago. it's 450ish miles round trip and i made it there and back on 19 gallons with 2 people in the truck. that averages out to about 22mpg's.
For me anyway, 3,000 miles is roughy ~18 months at the rate I put miles on the truck now.QClikeKW said:Why is anyone dropping synthetic oil at 3000 miles?
Did the dealer reccomend it along with checking your tail light voltage at only $60 per visit per side?

I agree with Jack. You can't really say it costs you $27,500 or whatever to drive these trucks 100k miles. You have to assume you'd be driving something anyway, so while there maybe a delta for the privildge of driving an SRT-10, it's not the whole $27,500 or whatever you individual calculation might be. Now the same holds true for mods, Hell if I was driving a Honda Civic I couldn't leave it alone, but the cost of the mods for these trucks is huge comparitively speaking.
