Spare tire Lock

So two weeks ago when I bought my truck I noticed that they dealer didnt put the wheel lock in the truck. I called and they were kind enough to reimburse me for the key. Well today while installing my exhaust I decided to lower the spare. Nice little padlock on the tire and well no key to be found. Is this standard on all our trucks and is this key hidden somewhere that I didnt look. Can I get a key for this lock or am I cutting this thing off.

Check the compartment under the center seat and if you have a QC the one under the right rear seat.

I moved everything out of the back compartment since I keep my daughters car seat there. Yes my friends give me shiat about the car seat. Im sure the dealer misplaced it along with the wheel lock, Looks like I will be cutting it off, should be fun. Im glad I didnt have a flat when I made the 240 mile drive home in the rain.

Mine did not have a lock installed.

I have 2 car seats so don't sweat it.
