I picked up 50rwhp with my MSD's !!! :D

LOL
Don't confuse him! :D

Less noise (ECM), better shielding (less chance of wire firing another wire or noise on radio/gps/etc), less resistance, and better chance of a good spark. Not necessarily and change in HP, but there could be. Insurance (possible performance increase) and looks are what MSD brings to the table.

Sorry :D

Yes, primarily insurance and perhaps some performance gain but would guess that its not reliably measurable.

thats what i thought,,,,,,,,but it seems every place that sells them claims increased hp.........

They may well do so, we're not saying they don't. But no guarantee of any increase. Your stock wires may be doing a good job. However, I have more trust in MSD wires on the above issues.

Nobody mentioned how fun the install will be!!!

No kidding. Better have some looooong needle nose pliers and very good lighting if you plan on doing it w/o pulling the intake manifold (MAJOR PITA).

I need to replace the MSD's that were left on my engine for the dyno/burn-in, since they fried in the process (no boot protectors). Fortunately my engine is still out of the vehicle, so it won't be quite as bad.

just got through looking at them closely,,,,,,,,,JESUS CHRIST do they make any cars or trucks that even the smallest task are easy.. I seen the 1,2,3,4,5,6, I take it that the rest are under the 4,5,6,

Did you get them installed Stick?

I think another 100 trucks would have those wires if it was an easier install!:dontknow:
