Update,

The carrier pin broke in 3 places and mangled the teeth of the spider gears. The ring and pinion gear survived. The carrier housing is most likely toast.

Assuming the carrier housing is toast I've decided to go with a brand new carrier to accept 513 gears. The new 513 gears will be treated for strength. My top speed and gas mileage will go down but the fun factor on the streets will go up a lot!:D

Trainman and I worked out the 513's will be good at the track with a 32" tall 16" slick or cheater slick which is capable of putting me at around 117mph @ redline at the finish line.
