A very special thanks goes out to a few of our finest members:congrats:

Bob, Getusum,
for comming all the way back an hour and a half to help out and tow venom powers truck back to the motel, and to go beyond that and tow him almost back to houston and then to let him use his personal trialor to get his truck home:congrats:

to my wife
for stepping up and helping me with the trophys and as my voice was leaving , handing out the prizes and trophys:congrats:

Venom Power
for standing out in the rediculous hot sun and cooking ribs, roast, breakfast for all and anyone that wanted to grab a bite to eat:congrats:

To Earnie, Griff, Eddie, (the greatest guys in the world a guy could have for friends)
for setting up the cookout for saturday night:congrats:

Richard owner of emerald coast dragway
for stepping up and even tho we were late, leting us complete all races and runs, and catering hand and foot to us:congrats:

Wes Albert
for the internet connection so that everyone could get to see apart of the pcb gtg:congrats:

and to everyone
everyone stepped up , helped out when needed, and cleaned up, moving things, and jsut straight up being the greatest bunch of people that could come together from differnt parts of the country and have a great time together.

That guy had no idea how close he was to a HUGE ass whoopin. The only chance he would have had was if Nick and Griff would have fought to see who gets to hit him first.
 
that was too funny, wonder why it is we attract people like that. you also forgot to thank the lady at shrimp city...lol oh does anyone know a cure for alcohol poisoning? i think i have a slight touch of it.

anthony headed over to the track and lost reverse, sounded like the throw out bearing.

so he didnt race, we started heading back, it started getting hot, smoked filled the cab, they pulled over on I-10

even after an hour adn a half, you couldnt touch the tranny,

no visible signs of too much leakage.

internal trans problems most likely, the tranny is more or less burnt, or the clutch cam completely apart, hard to diagnose, but alot of noise, and a ton of heat, and a very vbery burnt smell that lingered for hours

It's the tranny. When you blow your clutch apart:eek: :D it just wont move:heeeelllllooooo: I hope guys whose trucks are daily drivers, aren't using anything lighter than 75w90. The lighter shit is only for the track:dontknow: or unless they like rebuilding the trans.

The smell was for sure gear oil. He had the clutch installed at a dodge dealer. So, I'm pretty sure they went by the book and put in gear oil.
