Can the tool that is used for the fuel line quick connect at the fuel rail be purchased at any autoparts store? I'm trying to get the intake off, and after I depressurize the fuel system, it looks like the fuel line is the first thing that needs to come off.

yes. I got one there years back. Fuel line Quick disconnect, I believe mine was for a Ford Fuel Filter and just checked, it works on the truck.

When I took mine off, I left the fuel rails attached to the fuel lines. I just took the bolts out that hold the rails to the manifold and pulled the injectors out.

Did you go through the depressurizing process for the fuel system? (Pull the fuel pump relay and start the truck until it stalls, to get the fuel out of the system?)

If the truck has sat for a day or so, it shouldn't have any pressure. :)

OOOPS!!! Sorry! I thought this was a thread about the Sickness....:D:D:D

I didnt bleed anything, no need to if the injectors stay in the rails and you dont unhook the fuel line.
