SPEEDING... No one thinks big of you

Thanks for the support, Phil.

Ronnie is having a mid-life crisis and feels the need to act like a 12 yr old....

His argument is feckless and asinine......... and so is he.

Good to see ya again....

Thanks, Magilla! I've stayed away too long. Just got too busy. Do you still have the Jeep and are you still complaining about the Pacific Northwest?

And, thanks Ferrari! The guy that bought that truck put it in a ditch. He was supposed to call me if they totaled it so I could buy the engine back.

Geez, it's good to chat with you guys again!:)

Yep, still have the Jeep. Not that happy with it, but it's still here.

The festering shit hole? Who could complain about this place?:dontknow: ;)

I'm not sure if you have seen the new toy or not. If not, here it is.

This was my daughters wedding present to myself.:D

And it's great to see you again. Think you can stop by more often?:dontknow:

Wrong!

I have the experience required...but it is was so long ago that it is probably no longer relevant.

Got to get re-certified one of these days...I need a volunteer to help.
Viagra.......:p

accidents suck, and to be able to avoid any type of injury while drivin is soooo important, being alert and aware of all terrain is soooo important, thank god for the track............and seeing this again will tone me down and try to be humble............ :congrats:

Video really has nothing to do with speeding. Its more of a representation of what happens when your not paying attention .

Next video to follow will most likely be a compilation of pictures and videos of crashes that have nothing to do with racing but will be titled street racing kills .

Have no problems with the message of such videos but misrepresenting something or to do so bugs the shyit out of me.

Here is another thing we need to stop thats getting out of hand.

We all enjoy the site of fireworks such as the one in the video above but what we don't see is the devastation that is left behind. There are a hundreds of families that will be left wondering why each year. Here are some photos of what was left behind when someone just thought it would be fun to have a fireworks display.

That's what I was thinking especially with the kid texting then getting hit by a bus. That was all on him. Texting kills!

It is a strong message though. I'm going to send it to a couple of my friends that I have repeatedly told to slow down.

Just a note:

My observation of this subject and how it's been received can be broken down into two VERY simple categories. People who can be humbled by the gravity of succumbng to their potential inner recklessness and people (1) whose egos are too just big to give a shit about anything other than themselves and the satisfaction of their childish actions....

It's gratifying to know that most everyone here gets it......

Wow! Cobra looks great! What's up with your Jeep? We still have our Jeep and love it.

Great observation, Tim!

Do I drive fast? Yes, faster the some, slower than others. The main thing is I am concentrating on my driving while I am driving. No texting, no talking on the phone, and no day dreaming. Paying attention to all the vehicles around you is the most important part of driving. IMO

Just a bunch of intermittent electrical problems. Nothing they can ever get to malfunction at the dealer, so we end up just living with it.

Part of it is my fault. Going from an Infiniti to the Jeep is a big jump backwards in both luxury and quality. It's gotten to the point that I very seldom drive it anylonger. If I do, all I do is get pissed at it. But my wife likes the power, so she is happy.

I liked driving it John. The only part I didn't like is the fact that it doesn't have a manual transmission.

wow this video woke me up....put if your going to speed you need to pay attention. Alot goes down out there.

so if your in an accident at 100mph would it would have happend if you where going 55? wrong place wrong time. to many variables to tell when something is going to happen.

I have a weird instict and i dont know who else here has it. Before something happens and i have no clue its about to happen i think of something and then it happens. Sometimes i wonder if i caused the problem or accident to happen of if it was going to happen and somehow i knew about it..Here is the most recent one that happend.....Im on my honeymoon in aruba eating pizza at a little pizza shop on the main road through town. I sit down with my wife get some pizza and start eating drinking etc...I say to my wife i wonder if anyone seen an accident while eating here after thinking of an accident and seeing it play out in my head....about 15 sec later a female driver rear ended the car in front of her at the cross walk. It was wild but this has been happening alot to me.

Showed the video to my students...it was pretty startling to them. I got several email messages requesting the link so they could show it to their family...
