Well they took everything out. If I wanted to change gear ratio's it wouldn't have taken any extra work from them. Being out in the middle of nowhere I don't have many options on pricing.

Yeah when they were researching it, they said that is weird and that is different. For example they were talking about something and their book told them it is better to just get a new assembled carrier. I remember when Maui/srt-10 replaced his gears Unitrax just sent him a complete carrier assembly instead of swaping parts.
From what I understand our Dana's are kind of bastardized from everything else out there. And they did tell me before I dropped the truck off they would have to send it out of town.alexspop said:

Yeah but the ones in our truck have some different crap then all the other dana's. For example if I remeber right the diff cover is different from a 60 to our trucks and won't fit. I think Bone was having some issues with getting a Mag Tech cover. And I remember somebody calling a dana rep and they didn't not even know that they had a dana super 60! . So it looks like to me these guys took out the carrier bearings and did not have to. I also noticed they separated the ring gear from the carrier too and did not have to.
