How do you stop the brakes from always squeeking? I got new brake pads from dodge and they still do it sometimes.Do i change my rotors to the slotted ones? Need Help.

Mine don't squeek but I don't know what pads are on there. The brake dust is riddiculus tho. 50 miles and rims are noticable dirty

EBC pads are supposed to be extremely quiet, see Stinker.

I dunno about that Jack. I recently changed from quiet, cleaner performance friction pads to EBC green rears and EBC red fronts and slotted dimpled rotors. Ya know what? I hear squeeking and the brake dust from the EBC greens in the rear is tremen-dust. Performance friction left my wheels clean for a long time. I'm so disappointed.

put yourself in place of your brakes. if you were them, trying to stop a 5000lb fat ass doing 100 mph over and over again wouldnt you be begging for mercy and screaming for help??? :D stop cryin and go buy a prius if you want quiet :)

The PF pads didn't beg for mercy like that. They shut up and did their job as I expected. I may wait a while to see if they need some 'brake' in time (no pun intended).. Then I'll decide if I go back with PF pads..
