SRT-10 Frame

Hey guy's, I have one quick question. I think I heard a while back that the srt had the same frame as the 2500? Is this true?

Awsome!! So they should be able to hold up to 800hp and 1400+ft/lbs of torque then!! If you get where i'm going with that...haha

haha, yes, mr. anderson got it right. i've been planning this swap for quite some time now. It does suck that i just found out HaulinAsp is planning the same setup, and def. has more knowledge than i do, BUT, i've been planning on it for a while and still plan on going through with it. The only diff. is, I plan on going with an auto, so maybe i can run some better times.

I'm going to start with the srt-10. It's sad, but dealers can't give away a truck like that right now, so i can get a good deal on a trade in plus a little cash on a used srt-10. Then, i can just sell the viper motor and trans to put toward my diesel project. how much are those viper/6-speed combo's going for used?

Yea, i was thinking about getting some SRT6 badges for it when its done. i'm sure ppl would be like WTF! when they saw it. My dad is also friends with Ken on that show Passtime and i was thinking about getting them to put the truck on the show when it's done and they come to/around the texas area.

Haha, i said Damn too, when i found out about your project. I thought i was the only one crazy enough to change the trademark motor in the srt-10. Hopefully i can just own the 1/4 mile time b/c i'll have an auto. lol, but you'll def. have top speed with that 5speed. Any chance of extending that sponsorship towards my build. haha j/k. I think i did see that you do porting on the heads to lower EGT's. I might get in contact with you for something along those lines, as well as your recommendations on a camshaft(i'll just let you know which compounds i go with). maybe i can work something out where we can both race on passtime. (don't know if you've ever seen it, comes on speed channel)
And i would never take your idea on a name. It is awsome though!! we'll have to think of a name for my project as well.

Just let me know if you need anything for your Cummins, I have many contacts in the diesel world. I also have an awesome line of cams I work with that help spool big chargers faster and lower egts as well.

What are your plans- 12V? 24V? or CR? I have connections on either..... Let me know if ya need to locate one.
