Just having an issue with fitting bigger fuel pump. It does not slide in as the bottom part is bigger. The wiring is reversed. The assembly has the wires and the plug plugs into pump. New pump has wiring and a plug to .....to to go somewhere.I prefer to just turn the key on off and leave it on the 3rd time .. Then the BFH technique on the bad part lol .
Now Jandel the thing and report back please hahahaha !

New pump has one outlet OEM has 2
Hose fitting is larger as well
Just wondering if we have the right pump?
We can modify but I was under impression it was a direct fit.
It also thought they were, plug and play ... I prefer old school external tank HP fuel pums and regulators .. screw the in tank crap , nothing but a more pain in the ask ! Get out the BFH and take care of the problem once and for all hahahaha ?Just having an issue with fitting bigger fuel pump. It does not slide in as the bottom part is bigger. Dang she's being a beotch!! GRRRRAll modified and waiting for glue to dry. Goes in tank tomorrow.
Power steer hoses replaced. Then leaked again this morning. So it is reservoir leak or where it attaches to pump. GRRRR! Can't see it or touch it so looks like radiator out again, double GRRRR!
Might just buy a new pump with reservoir attached.
Maybe just buy a new truck!
See if you can go Manual steering and eliminate all that PW leak problem and reduce some weight .. use to do that on my Dusters years ago and the streeting and road feel was much better ..All modified and waiting for glue to dry. Goes in tank tomorrow.

Good move Why chance it now!If the Orings undisturbed have failed. I have no faith that the pump will be any good for very long. So I bought a new pump complete with reservoir and pulley off Rockauto.
Only the ashtray to go.
Im sure the cheapo plastic ashtray will need replacement .. Better jus get one for the inevitable lolIf the Orings undisturbed have failed. I have no faith that the pump will be any good for very long. So I bought a new pump complete with reservoir and pulley off Rockauto.

Go to car shows , lots of car shows and put a big tin cup next to it and a sign I WILL,SHOW FOR FOOD .. hahaha !Off to pick up my truck. Hopefully all good except the power steer pump which is on it's way from Rockauto.
Speaking of truck values....There better be some, no a lot. My retirement money has gone. two more years at work to pay for it all.
Granted I have a low mileage bone stock truck, I have owned it since 2017 and other than that silly clutch hydraulic thing, this truck hasn’t been anymore expensive to maintain than my 03 Cobra or my Challenger. My SRT-10 has been the most unreliable, expensive vehicle I have ever owned. Has cost approx $80k NZ ($40-$50kUS) in repairs for a lousy 10k miles. 3 sets of spark plugs even. They go well tho. Almost forgiven. Hope to change O2 sensors this week and fix power steer return hose leak and exhaust rubbing on floor. Nearly there. Once I get no more fault lights, I can give it the Jandal.
