DITTO.. I may have watched every episode at least three times. It was THE show since it first aired around 1984 - 1985. I was about 13 then.

I was living in South Florida while this show was in production. It was a cool show for the times. Still catch a re-run from time to time just to see the scenery. Loved the exotic cars and boats they always had. Just caught the trailer on Spike TV.

I hate to admit it, but I loved that show. Unfortunately it hasn't aged well. Looks really hokie now. But there were some classic episodes, I'm almost embarresed that I know this much about the show LOL. These were the ones that I remember best though.
El Viejo with Willie Nelson as the old Texas Ranger
Difinitely Miami with Ted Nugent burying the dealers and cars
Out Where the Buses Don't Run- I just loved the way it ended with the dude buried in the wall with Brothers In Arms playing the whole time.

Funny you say that Bob. It's amazing how all the old shows we enjoyed when we were younger look really hoaky now...have you recently watch an old Clint Eastwood movie or John Wayne? We used to go to the drive in and watch marthons of spaghetti westerns or the Dirty Garry series and couldn't wait for them to come on again and again, now it's hard to sit through one...LOL!!! For the record, I always enjoyed Miami Vice too when it was on.

I used to watch miami vice when it was on when I was a lil kid. I loved the Ferarri! I noticed it when I went to F&F3...

Michael Mann was a very good producer of commercial product... Much better than Steve Cannell.....

Michael Mann produced one of my favorite old shows..."Crime Story"... it featured alot of old vegas glitz and some of the coolest old cars ever seen on TV...

Dennis Farina was the star..... Before he went on to play greaseball gangster parts.... hey I'm Sicilian, I can say "greaseball"....... I am one.

The theme was a remake of "Runaway" by Del Shannon.......

SD

Guess I'll have to see it...Heat is one of my favorite flicks.

My ex is in the new movie.....but will have to see it anyway now that I know there is a wingless SRT -10 in it....:D
