SRT Turbo

Hey guys im in the process of putting in a turbo in my 10. what mods would i have to do with the engine? also what would be a good turbo. I'm want it to sound like this one here. i dont want that much boost just something simple.

I would do forged pistons & rods.

My friend has a jeep srt with a supercharger, they do not have forged internals. He has had the boost up to 13 psi I believe when he dipped into the 10's but thats only 1 time. but he has not had any problems with the engine yet.

I guess some make it & some don't.

The stories are everywhere out there...my friend this and this dude that...the bottom line is cast pistons are not designed for boost or spray!!!...can it be done yeah shure- with a proper tune and low boost itl survive for awhile....just not worth it to me i guess..plus it would be a lot cheaper to forge it rather than rebuild it after a ring land cracks or you spin a bearing!!

Yea it does sound f-in awesome...I like his truck too looks like he went all through the truck with black stripes
