I use Photoshop 7. Teaching it is another story. I am still learning myself.

There are some good tutorials on the interwebs though!

Me too. I'm using Corel Paint Shop Pro-X I and II. The only teaching I can give is to buy/download your preferred version, grab a photo (copy of) and go through the tabs and tools. Apply and use them on the image and take note of what each one does, that is what I did and I'm guessing everyone else does. You'll soon find the 5-10 tools that you'll use the most. For me it's the clone brush, smudge, push, soften, sharpen etc etc. Then you get the effects and borders, the list goes on. Real nice to be able to do things even if, in most cases, they're simple. :)

if someone could teach me how to make these pictures, that would be super

Mike,

As stated, I've found the best thing to do is obtain a version of Photoshop or equal and start piddling. There's also lots of good online tutorials administered by various people. I've even seen some shortcuts/explainations on YouTube. If you'll send me a PM, I know a great place to get Photoshop CS2. ;)

Here are a couple I had laying around!!!

Do you any you guys have any SRT10 artwork?? If so, let's see it!!!!!

With all the cool photoshops, badass sig-pics, and photographs out there, I figured someone would have that stuff framed/displayed. I've been thinking about going somewhere and having a few things made. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to go and have it done?? :dontknow:

I used to work for an artwork and framing company. I took a couple of pictures in and had them framed (NBT, ViperJeff, Wazzup) and I think they turned out nicely. It was never the tradition plain black metal frame - they usually had some sort of matting & frame that would accent the truck and/or background.

I used to work with the digital artist we had there that would print out the pictures on quality paper before being framed by one of the best.

When I still worked there I had brought up the idea of offering a discount for anyone that may want their pictures / photoshops / etc professionally framed. I never took it anywhere though.

If anyone is interested, I could look into it for them - possibly a discounted price for professional framing plus shipping charges - if there is enough interest - may be able to spread a bigger discount. Maybe I could set something up where I send in all pictures wanting to be framed once a month.

You could always find a local framer in your area, but you have to go in with a good idea of what you want otherwise you may just end up with a plain black frame. :p

One more, per Jake's request. . .

Does anyone have one of those lightening background pictures with a red quadcab in the foreground I could play with??

The more dpi the better.

Or is there someone does them for you.

Cheers, Hog.
