Stage II and Nitrous

Just want to make sure Im reading the correct info. Stage II and Nitrous are a no no correct? Is there a flash specific to running Nitrous, Im sure the timing is adjusted somehow. I have been digging through posts and it seems that a small 50 or so shot would be ok but after that its not so good. Any insight would be helpful.

Are you running stock internals? From what I understand the stock engine with a Paxton SC and stage II flash will work with a 50-75 shot of the gas. DC Performance can do a stageII flash to make it work with the Nitrous. Hope this helps:D
 
I called DC and they said I would have to send my pcm back in to run nos...
 
The pcm should be stock if you want to run n2o, I removed my flashed pcm and reinstalled the original. I also installed colder plugs that I ordered from Boomer. Some guys have taken a 250 shot with 102 octane and stock everything. I started running a 150 shot after talking to some of the guys here, and let me tell you she loves it.
 
yeah bro....i'd be cautious about running nos on a stage II flash due to the advanced timing that it has. I got 30+ runs on a 150 shot and stock timing/stock PCM.
 
Chris, you need to put the stock flash back on with NOS. I took about 8-10 degrees of timing off down in the lower RPMS, and about 6-8 in the upper RPMS of the Flash with the VEC. Plus, I had (very) colder plugs and methanol.

So you can put the VEC2/3 ontop of it. I already have the program for it and a program for NOS with that flash. (It's a VEC2 program).
 
Well that answers my question. I want to be able to keep the all around HP benefits of the flash. The bottle will give me more HP but on demand, I guess to get the best of both isnt a possiblity. I can live with what I have for now I swear you guys are going to make me get a Paxton. To bad my employer decided that our yearly bonus isnt going to happen any longer. I guess I could always dip into the savings, Im sure the wife would love that.

Just promise your wife a new set of boobs, that's what I did. I pay for them in Oct.:D

thats why I am just sticking with the stage 2 because i would not want to spray every time i race

I'm kinda the opposite. I just baby the truck around and if I ever want to race or go to the track I can flip a switch and have 100-150 more hp.

Like Bone said the only option for you to have the benefits of the flash and the NOS when you want it would be to go to the VEC 2/3 cause you can switch very quickly between different tunes for different setups.

Right.....this truck has plenty of power for the street.....only need more when you want to race or scare the shit out of your buddy in the passenger seat!
