Stage II PCM Mod Question

What modifications should I have at the minimum with the Stage II PCM mod to avoid pinging? Would catless mids, magnaflow cat back and KN drop in do the trick.

DC recommends a 170 T-Stat. That's it!

You don't 'need' the other stuff to run a Stage2, but they will make it even more fun!:rock: :burnout:

For avoiding pinging.. isn't that based on the octane rating of the PCM stage II? Aren't there different flashes based on the octane you are running?

Just make sure you let them know what octane gas is available in your area and that should be fine.

A true 92 (or better) octane pump gas should do the trick to prevent/reduce ping.

As for power, in descending order:

Catless/Hi-Flows
Cat-Back
Drop-In or C.A.I.
