Stainless Steel Front Grille Fascia... Tacky???

I am working on some plans to add a bit more bling to my engine bay... I am considering this front facia. Are there any alternatives to this? Also,,, any performance concerns by blocking heat from escaping???
It's just that all the exposed parts of the front of my truck (when the hood is open) look a bit worn and a stainless "cover" would sharpen things up a bit by covering them up... I would probably pass on the viper head add-on,,, just do the stainless cover. The cost on this thing is around $425. Any other options??

Yeah, I'm with ya... I'm trying to get to the point where my truck looks classy and not overdone... Ideally, I would love to slap a nice ol' polished intercooler on the front, but that would require a turbo or two...
Just looking for options to really clean up the frontend.

Looks great! I really need to do something with my stock throttle body. I wish I could just polish the top of it. Did you have it powdercoated black???
