I started my lowering of my 06 tonight and I may have screwed up. I started on the back and while I had the rear springs off, I decided to install my Calvert traction bars too. I removed the stock slapper bar as it said to do in the directions and then I decided to remove the next leaf as well. I put every thing back together with the 2" lowering blocks and I'm still using the stock shocks. When I put it back on the ground it looks good in the back, but it is only a 1/2" from hitting the stock rear bump stops. Did I mess up? Should it be that low? I'm 11" from the ground to the front edge of the rear fender opening at the bottom. I have about 2 1/2" to 3" from the top of the rear tire to the inside of the top of the rear fender opening. The truck does sit at a little lower than level. I started the front 1" drop, but I won't have that done till Monday night. Any ADVICE WILL BE VERY HELPFUL.
