Starter Ordering

I have had the battery tested and everything works and checks out fine so I am being told that my starter needs to be replaced.

Orileys, Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts and many online dealers are not able to order it because their dealers do not have any and they do not know when any will be in stock.

Am I going to be forced to go to Dodge for this or is there an alternative at a "decent" price?

what's wrong going through Dodge? you can get a reman starter through Dodge for 163.00/ and a brand new one for $367.00

how old is the battery? If it is more than 6 years old. Change it. Find the relay and check/change it as well. I am having trouble believing it is the starter.
