Steak, what should it cost?

Typically i go to a custom butcher, an old Italian named joe cuts the meat i want the way i want it.

typical costs for by the cut meat is:
filet $20
porterhouse $16

now i decided to get it in bulk because now i have a freezer.
filet $12.59
tenderloin(other side of porterhouse) $7

is that a good price?

RIBEYE!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO love it. But if I wanna go leaner I'd go with NY Strip.. Leaner still? Sirloin. I generally like Brazilian cuts from the top sirlion for fire roasted Picanha and Alcatra.. Or Fraldinha (bottom sirloin). Filet Mignon would do too.. Sorry, I'm overseas again and missing a damn good steak.

I prefer roasts way over steaks myself. Prime rib, ny strip roast, tenderloin roast...but my fav is probably tri tip and its the cheapest. You can get decent tri tip for 3.99 lb on sale.

Yea ribeye is pretty fatty but nothing else tastes like a ribeye.
