Under the badges on these trucks is the sticky foam thingymabober.

The tar/bug remover product is not getting the stuborn outline residue off the truck

I know googone is mostly alcohol and is safe, but is pure alcohol safe to rub on gthe paint or will it hurt the clearcoat

hit it with some 80 grit. comes right off:rock::rock::marchmellow::marchmellow::D
 
It takes a minute, but I've always had pretty good luck just rolling it off with my thumbs.

hahaha, he was also head of the research and development team. thats why it makes no sound when he farts.


i just used my fingers to get them off along with some heat. one little spot i got in a hurry and tried to use my nail, bad idea. took a minute to buff that one out and it wasnt even that big sooooo, be patient

yes, any "tool" could leave scratches. I used my fingers and a blow dryer. For some of it I used a thin plastic card ( credit card is too thick). The thin plastic card became "mallable" when I heated it up and it worked perfectly.

Wherever i used "goo gone" and scrubbed I ended up with scratches.

I just took my rig ( after debading) to a pro detailer and had the whole trcuk doen and the debadged/scratched portions wet sanded. Looks awesome now.
