Stroker Engine Build

depending on how new your crank is, I dropped in K1 rods and wiseco pistons all under what stink 2400 bucs, now I dont have to worry so much on the pistons breaking up. Folks went the chevy route becuase there was nothing for our motors but now you have chocies. I know my setup is good for 1000hp but I am not going that high 800 is where I stop. Oh and there right dont mess with the heads or cam imo.

Engine build

Yeah just talking with Mark at Sloan Performance about what i wanted done ,he apeard to me that this wasn't his first rodeo. So i know that my truck will be in good hands. He said that he knew exacly what i wanted done. I had asked him about running a bigger pulley to up the boost (running 6lbs now) and said to put at least 1000 miles on the forged engine first. he said a forged engine takes long to break in than a stock, then i could can the pulley to up the boost.

Just be careful there have been a few people duped into believeing they can do the job. Just make sure he is familar with the viper motor it is not like a hemi or a gm block very finicky bitch.

Engine Build

The only thing that i didn"t like that i was trying to do every thing at one shop like engine, custom tuning, dyno and anything else that needs to be done.He said he was going to get roe to do the custom tunes and he don't have a dyno, he knows someone that has one that he can get it done on.

well good sign is obviously he reminded you of that:p And Tuning person he got spot on, just make sure the dyno gets done right and you get Sean the right numbers, you wont be disappointed I am still running a safe tune for the 6lb so when I get Sean new#'s the 6lb tune alone should be fun let alone the 10lb. Just don't rush and things should go good.

I also had a conversation with Mark and if he wasnt 3000 miles and across the border from me he would be building my motor as well.
