STUNNING CARS FOR SALE

Had a 75' TA back in the mid 80's. 400 Big Block, 373 Posi Rearend, 4 speed manual. I could do 58 mph in 1st gear alone. This thing was a beast, and a blast to drive. Hated getting rid of it, but you know how it is when you end up with babies. By far my favorite Firebird, and I've owned 9 in my lifetime.
You should have a nosey on Trademe at what sort of cars are on the road here.
Unfortunately most are used Japanese domestic market rubbish, but the broken asses buy them. At the other end we have a hell of a lot of American classics which is surprising as none of them were sold new here.

Looks like they want a pretty penny for them as well...

Mind you 1USD buys 1.53NZD or 1NZD buys 0.66USD
That makes a big difference
Also remember that everything is expensive here. The cost of energy is 4 times that of USA and then there's the tax
So any work done is expensive. The cost to do business here is high and makes us uneconomic on the global market for so many things
Electricity is currently 32c a unit
Gas $8/gal

Dang, that's high. Do you have anything that can be exported?

Awesome cars. They all look like collector quality. Speaking of Firebirds, there is a guy near me that has one with some kind of ram air hood. That thing is a sleeper and lethal fast.

Oh yeah Food. The dairy industry is huge here. Fonterra export globally, baby food, specialist food ingredients, as well as AMF butter, milk powder, cheeses etc
Grow kiwifruit, avocados, apples, etc
Most of our industry has gone now days. Thanks to govt policy in the mid 80's Everything was made here under license until then. The free market policy and global market ruined all that.
Now everything is imported and the factories are gone, unemployment is high and the social problems that causes.
I can only afford to fill my truck once a month. That's the reality of living in a broke paradise.
BUT if you are rich then what a great place. Just ask James Cameron(Avatar) and Barry Osborne(Newline Cinema) just a few of our new locals

Smokes
Booze
Grain
Fishing
Cattle
Hogs
Milk
Mining
Lumber and more recently pot and oil producers.
All victims of government intervention in Canada.

Hate to hear how your country has been devastated economically. I would love to take a trip there and see the view.

Patience is a virtue.
You will get your opportunity when the time is right.
Just be open for it and never let that chance go by.
Nothing worse than regret.
So many people in their later years say I wish I had done this or I could have done that.
Take adventure by the horns. You don't have to know all the answers. Make the decision and you will be surprised how the rest falls into place
It's called living:)
