Some of these may generate some debate...debate is good!

We need a $500 dollar bill

well let's see....:

The shell pumps were limited to $50 last year so a $100 will be soon to follow I'm sure

It is already illegal to ride in the back of pick ups in CA.

As far as toy guns...well that is a complicated one.. We are a warrior nation and that status comes at a price...Toy guns a PAL football (pewee football) are the greatest training tools to ever be quietly initiated into a society for the purposes of military training.....genius idea actually...

The US government will not make a $500 bill because they want to cut down on cash sales, they want everyting done by check or credit card. Cash cannot be tracked and taxed as easily as checks and credit cards.

Yeah, the $75 limit is a real pain in the ass.

I need a bunch of $500 bills.

Seat belts in school buses, I have never understood why they don't have them. One of the most idiotic things I have ever seen. My kid has to ride in a car seat in my truck with front and side airbags and 3 point restraints, but doesn't need a seat belt in a vehicle with a big metal bar placed conveniently where his teeth will hit when they stop short.

I always liked riding in the back of pickup trucks, I figure I'm an adult why not? Just don't put the kids back there, the school bus industry wouldn't like the competition.

I played with toy guns while I was a kid and I turned out fine. Wait, let me start over again LOL. This is part of the whole pussification of our country IMO. Hell, all the toy guns now are orange anyway. Our whole generation was raised with toy guns and to be honest I don't think it was the downfall of society, any more than TV or video games were/are. The problem is parenting, nobody wants to do it anymore. I enjoy it myself, it's not just a job, it's an adventure.

the toy guns do help clean up the gene pool we had an actor here in LA that pointed a prop gun at a cop during a costume party.....BLAM.....

I can agree with all of those.I do like to use my Walmart card to get my whopping .03 off of the already inflated gas prices.I will say the Walmart is prolly 3-9 cents under the prevailing price here so another .03 is a good savings.
They are tracking me and find out I`m a hillbilly shopping at Walmart. It could be worse I guess.I could be using a CC at Wally`s House of Wheeners.Wouldn`t you like to buy that customer list?

$500.00 bill would allow the wallet to close instead of being crammed with a bunch of paper.Mind you it isn`t long (see gas prices above)

Seat belt thing is odd to be sure.

I like the riding in the back of pick up truck.Kinda like when I spent the summers on my Grandpa`s farm.

I spent the summers playing with toy guns and pretending to blow up stuff by playing Army.Jury is still out on how that worked out with me as an adult.....

Okay, I'm going to take these one at a time.:D

Yep, sure is. I hate to have to insert the card again and go through that shit. In fact I don't do it. And as soon as the pump starts to slow down I stop it there. "F" them. They will not get that extra 94 cents out of me. Hell, there have been times when I just leave the nozzle on the pavement so they have to get off their ass and come out and hang it up. I know, not very nice, but that's me.

I need a bunch of $500 bills.

Can't argue with that one. Problem is where to use it. Most places say they won't take $100.00 bills unless the change is less than $20.00. That sucks.

Seat belts in school buses......

This one actually came up a few years ago in Washington after a school bus accident. The reason they gave was they were more concerned about the kids hitting each other with the buckles. What's that tell you about our society.

I played with toy guns while I was a kid and I turned out fine.

Turned out fine, or survived.;) :D :p The only issue I have with toy guns is how realisitic they are. People are shot and killed because they have a toy gun. Some are drunk/high and don't really deserve what happened. Others are just committing suicide by cop. They get what they deserve. I just feel sorry for the cop that has to live with killing someone like that.

Oh Damn, almost forgot the riding in the back of trucks. I love it. I can hide in the bed and then jump up and scare the hell out of people when we pass them. I had to give that up though. Just about got sent back to the zoo the last time.

just like to point one thing out about the seatbelt idea for the school buses.
well lets see you got one bus driver and a crap load of kids.in the event of an emergency say bus rolls over catches fire the kids might get entangled in the seatbelt and cannot get out.plus if they are small children they would probably require other assistance and there only one bus driver or maybe two adults ride now but still thats a lot of kids to get evacuated in a hurry.i use to work on school buses and trust me they can take alot of damage.i just think its a bad idea ,tripping hazards, might cause serious injury if to lose or to tight if accident ocurred, possible weapons.
might be good for a small bus where there are very few passegers and two competent persons on board that are trained well
thats just what i think

You know, it's fricking amazing that any of us older folks even survived to live as long as we did! With all the regulations and rules and mandatory safety regulations out there these days, it's a wonder any of us made it out of childhood. No seat belts in our day, standing on the seats or riding in our parents laps. Hanging out in the back of the truck bouncing over the roads. No spanking our own children. All the bad foods we ate. All the things that you HAVE to do with and for babies. Do this, don't do that, be careful of this, and oh my God, never do that. Can't even think of sending your own kids outside to play by themselves anymore. Can't have friends over without worrying that someone, God forbid, would get hurt and you would be sued. Let's just drug up our misbehaving children thinking it's ADD becasue parents can't or won't control their kids. Let's take the pledge of alegience out of our schools and God forbid if you mention your faith or thank God in any school speech. They'll turn off the mic on you. Ok, I'm rambling now... must stop.

Yes, they need to raise the limit on gas pumps to $100.

A $500 bill would be nice, but like someone said, most places won't take a $100.

Seat belts in buses won't work, for aformentioned reasons. We do however need safer bus drivers.

And toy guns, not sure on that one. Had them growing up, and learned the difference between toys and real ones. And if it wasn't guns, then it would be something else. Society has to have something to bitch about.

And let them ride in the back of trucks. If they get hurt, it's their own damn fault, let them live with it. We try to coddle our society too damn much. If stupid people want to do stupid things, let em. It'll weed out the gene pool that much faster.

Kind of got off there, I had a bad day and night yesterday. Just venting a little. If any of my comments offended anyone, I most humbly appologize;)

Agree, I should be able to purchase as much fuel as I need without having to pay twice.

$500.00 Well, knowing our government they would spend $500 million of tax payers dollars, deliberating how cost effective it would be to merchants and banks....Then decide to not make a decision.

How about consequences to your actions ? I wasn't a smart ass apathetic worthless teenager who grows up suing Starbucks because my coffee is to hot or someone looked at me wrong. Primarily because if I ever did start acting a fool, I knew a good ass whoopin was in my future.

Nowadays, parents are afraid to be parents or they might end up in jail. Teachers are afraid to cross any lines and the next thing you know, we are where we are today.

Seems like these days, alot of people think that they are owed something. Wasn't too long ago that you had to earn anything you got, money, respect, freedom.

No offense to anyone here but I think we could do with half as many lawyers as we have today. There should be a state and national limit. The more lawyers there are, the more lawyers you need. ......They have created the perfect legalized extortion ring.

Damn, who put that soap box in here ?? :dontknow: :D

shell limit

Im with you, that shell limit is annoying i cant get a full tank. Oh well

I started filling up at about a half a tank to keep it on the cheaper side.

Altough the problem for me is less just because shell is not common in my area, i was using the one or two shells that are in my area because i prefere them for some reason. But then one of them got bought out by chevron. So now i am using chevron

As for 500 dollar bill, i would be afraid to lose it, its alot harder to lose a stack of 20's lol. But that is just me

I can see the benefit though of having a large bill like that
