You know, it's fricking amazing that any of us older folks even survived to live as long as we did! With all the regulations and rules and mandatory safety regulations out there these days, it's a wonder any of us made it out of childhood. No seat belts in our day, standing on the seats or riding in our parents laps. Hanging out in the back of the truck bouncing over the roads. No spanking our own children. All the bad foods we ate. All the things that you HAVE to do with and for babies. Do this, don't do that, be careful of this, and oh my God, never do that. Can't even think of sending your own kids outside to play by themselves anymore. Can't have friends over without worrying that someone, God forbid, would get hurt and you would be sued. Let's just drug up our misbehaving children thinking it's ADD becasue parents can't or won't control their kids. Let's take the pledge of alegience out of our schools and God forbid if you mention your faith or thank God in any school speech. They'll turn off the mic on you. Ok, I'm rambling now... must stop.
Yes, they need to raise the limit on gas pumps to $100.
A $500 bill would be nice, but like someone said, most places won't take a $100.
Seat belts in buses won't work, for aformentioned reasons. We do however need safer bus drivers.
And toy guns, not sure on that one. Had them growing up, and learned the difference between toys and real ones. And if it wasn't guns, then it would be something else. Society has to have something to bitch about.
And let them ride in the back of trucks. If they get hurt, it's their own damn fault, let them live with it. We try to coddle our society too damn much. If stupid people want to do stupid things, let em. It'll weed out the gene pool that much faster.
Kind of got off there, I had a bad day and night yesterday. Just venting a little. If any of my comments offended anyone, I most humbly appologize
