Subaru WRX How quick?

[Fast one]

I had a WRX race me from a roll tonight. We left the light easy, but then he hit it. I nailed the throttle, (it's a reflex, I couldn't help it) shifted into second and pulled on him by half a truck length. By third gear it was over due to traffic, but I am wondering how fast are these little cars? It was a closer race than I like. I don't think it was an STI, but it was shaved.

Off the line there quick due to the AWD, but I beat one in the 1/8 mile by even w/ me spinning 1st by .3 second

I've seen modded STi's Smoke modded Cobras so they aren't the nicest thing on the road defently when breathed on.

That blue WRX that Adam had ran 12.8 but it wasn't stock. His STi was a few tenths quicker even with a road racing tune. A stock WRX runs mid to low 14s but there are a lot of modded WRXs running aroung Salt Lake. You just never know what you're up against.

ive raced several .. none have beat me yet .. and hopefully it stays that way ... raced a blue and gold wrx sti...and a few others... nothing special and they are expecialy ugly..lol

My buddie stock ran a 13.8 at LACR. His STI is now in the 11's with just 6k in upgrades.

i race one by 3 weeks ago.... it was an sti ... it was from a 75 mph roll ...by the time we hit 110 he was ahead by 3 lenghts and then my truck stop building speed at 125 mph:dontknow: ... i think it was because it just had 135 miles on the odometer.... last saturday i went all the way to 145mph:rock: ... she already have 2500 miles on the odometer:rock: .. those little cars are fast but ugly...

and even if thoes cars ran 10s stock they would still be a ugly POS... just a fast one thats all...

STi's are descent from the factory...high 13's usually. But ya they are easy/cheap to mod on. I've always heard that they dont like the 4th and 5th gears...I've heard that a bunch of people start walkin away with it high in 3rd or hittin 4th...

Just my opinion bro....sorry. i DO however appreciate the motor,chassis,tranny, and AWD...Nice ride from those aspects.

the wrx beats us?? the srt-10 .?? ummm not in Toronto or Florida they dont not sure maybe where you live they do.. ive raced 10 + of them not one has beat me yet.. raced 3 or 4 STI's .. they all lost.. some verry close but none beat me...

Check this out and let me know what ya'll think. This STI almost took a Lamborghini Gallardo. They're quick little cars, but uncomfortable to drive...at least that's my opinion.
