Which setup do you guys recommend and why? Which one would be more expensive to install and and maintain? Im really clueless with these trucks and i just want to check with you guys before i start calling performance shops.
Thanks!

Cody

twin turbo is WAAAAY more expensive, the headers alone are around $3k,way more power available with TT,I would guess that you could forge your engine and put a ROE on for around $20 (aprox.) and I don't know if you would get just the TT on your truck for that(installed),I'm sure you will get lots of feedback on this.

if your wanting to go forced induction make sure and forge the bottom end first. it will take you longer but it will be right in the end. trust us on this. too many stock bottom ends coming apart.

x2 Do it once, do it right.

I'm going for a Roe Supercharger but that is because it suited my needs. What will your truck be used for? What kind of power do you want (600rwhp? 700rwhp, 900rwhp or more??) and where will you be using it? Some of the questions have to be answered yourself. Seems like they are all great options, just a matter of what you intend to do with your SRT/10. ;)

Put a Roe on for around $20? I know you dont mean $20,000, cause if you do, Mythic will stay strictly N/A...

I would love to have at least 700rwhp, and i know that with a twin turbo setup that can be done safely with very low boost and will be very dependable. I dont know as much about superchargers, only that when they get hot you loose power, which is not a problem with a turbo setup.
I still have alot of work to do before this is even an option but moneywise i may end up going with a supercharger anyway.
I also want to maintain weekend street drivability, just to cruise around and know i can bust a corvette if i feel like it in my 5200lb truck :D

Well with a used Paxton plus install and tune prob around 7k. New Paxton install and tune at least 9k. That is on a stock engine

Forging the engine... start around 7k for basic including removing/reinstalling engine. Price for 1000 hp+ will be north of 15k.

Twin turbo build... at least 15k on top of the big engine build. The sky is the limit at this level of build.

Stinker's rearend 3k roughly if I remember right

Tranny and other improvements...

So you see once you are talking about going FI it gets pricey. Going big gets VERY pricey. Save the money to do it right the first time... doing it two or three times hurts... trust me.

a paxton and a good tune along with a exhaust will net you close to or just above the 600 mark on 5 lbs. that will run about 12k for the parts and install. if you want more power you can get a 10 lb pully and a bigger heat exchanger that will get you close to 700 . But becarefull the stock internal will not last to long with that much power.

best thing to do is stay stock and leave it alone, it becomes a headache and money pit as soon as you start ;)

otherwise start with the engine forging first then decide later.

bottem end forged for 1000hp or better by yours truely..............around 10k depending on options:marchmellow:

just send stinker your girlfriend your dog, 1st born child and your credit cards and he will fix you up.

I would love to have the power of FI but after seeing the cash spent and headaches from the seasoned members. I say BONE STOCK! I just like to enjoy my truck more than turning wrenches on it every other weekend. Maybe if mine wasn't a DD. :dontknow:

This truck is expensive to own stock........wanna go FI? ... break out the big cash. You have to forge it all first or risk blowing up. Then there is the SC'r, stinker rear end etc.... huge cash dude.....
