There must be hundreds of threads about suspension, but i dont want to go for an extreme lowering kit like a lot on here.

Dont get me wrong, i like the very low stance a lot, but the area where i live is not the right place for such a low truck.

I am looking for a 1" - 1,5" drop in the front and 1,5" - 2" in the back.
It is more about performance than look :D

Springs should be harder than standard, are there any aftermarket available, or will i have to let them have custom made.
Shocks will be adjustable ranchos.

In the rear i will possibly go just for shackles and anti sway bar.

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks

Arne

Rear sway is your biggest improvement in handling for sure with lowering the center if gravity by stance coming next. Shackles will not get you but 1/2" lower which is senseless. Like you say you need about a 2/4 drop. 4 " in rear by flipping axle and its still not LOW by any means. Lower front coils will also put the bumpstops on the control arms so aftermarket shorter ones are necessary. Keep pinion angle correct as well to prevent vibrations many have encountered.

Enjoy

would talk to tony about shocks to he has some that are built for these trucks the rancho's you will end up regretting i think.

Thanks, i will talk to Justin and see what he has.
On his site i can only find the shocks, but nothing to lower it a bit.
Update will come, once i gathered more info.

Talk to tony at JTS venom performance. Brandon took me for a ride the other day he has the 2"3" drop and the custom valved shocks... I was shockingly surprised how well it rides even for a lowered truck... And let me tell you it sticks in corners like white on rice ;) it was a great ride :)
