TAMPA Driving Out Cancer Motor Rally 4/26/08

I'm sure NBT & Brat will join on in since they live in the area! As well as Dennis (01Viperblahblahblah) :D and Mutt are not far away!

I'm definitely in - but like I said in a previous post - I need to be someone's passenger (so I'll pay the driver's registration fee)

I will be starting a new thread for this but I won't be able to get to that until later tonight or tomorrow morning.

We are only asking for $1.00 (which is nothing!) but if you want to donate more - we love ya for it! It will not be displayed who donates what amount.

Also, we want to make sure we can get the traveling banner for this event - so if there's a schedule set up for the banner, please let me know.

Alex how long do we have to make donations ? If it can wait until my next payday put me down for 50.00.........:rock: I cant make it down for a rally but I will help promote the cause......count me in sugar britches:elefant:

We will see you there! Either way I will be there - I just want to be able to ride in the cruise. I am sure someone will have some extra room :D

My sentiments exactly!! C'mon everybody ~ this is for a good cause ~ there's a contest (with awards!). Where is everybody?

maybe the S.E. GTG has something to do with it.I cant make that but will be there for this one!!

The website www.drivingoutcancer.org has a "donate" button so anyone can support the cause. The registration form is also there as well.

If the VTCOA members want to do one big donation, I will make sure we can present the check on the stage in front of everyone at the rally. I can make anything happen since this I am in charge of this event, so I am open to any suggestions.

Again, I want to thank each of you personally, and I look forward to the opportunity to do so at the event!!

That's definitely going to be Mickey! It was his suggestion and I'm only collecting any money donated. And I don't do crowds of people! Crowds scare the hell out of me!

We are hosting the First Annual Driving Out Cancer Motor Rally and Car show in Tampa, FL on April 26, 2008. Some of you may remember we did this same thing here in MD last September and it was a blast.

We will be starting at The Hut in downtown Tampa, and cruising over to Salt Rock Grill in Indian Shores. We will provide breakfast and lunch, live music, auctions, awards, etc. The entry fee is $45. All proceeds go to fund support groups and education for older adults with cancer as well as their caregivers. Other donations and support are welcomed.

We did a similar event two years ago this summer... Kick's for Kid's... rallied up $ 1200.00 bucks... not bad at all.:dontknow:
We even got some air time via Satellite Radio...was fun...and for a worthy cause.

"Grace" and I are in;) :D
