The bag of hardware that came with my roe Tb did not have all the hardware that the instructions says it should have. I'm missing at least one washer and the nut needed to remove the bearings from the oe tb. However the head of the black Allen bolt is too large to fit the bearing race to remove the bearing and there is no washer to remove it. Does anyone remember the steps on how to properly do this. The instructions are vague and just say to use bolt nut washer without saying which or how to properly do it.

I am pretty competent when it comes this **** and have enough common sense to problem solve these small issues, but I'm definately missing some piece to this puzzle.

I remember doing mine kinda, been a while.

I kinda remember everything I needed being off the factory TB. can you post some pics

I'm guessing the roe tb is differnt than the x metal one but the only thing I used off my stock tb was the shaft everything else came with the x metal tb

I have an extra tb you can have to practice taking out the bearings. I'm headed to Maryland now to visit family and can bring it with me

In my box came a bolt that would pull that bearing out when you tightened it. It was real close tolerances. Did you buy this new from roe?

There is just a smidget of a lip from the bearing that something could grab. The round bolt in the kit has a head diameter much larger than the hole and it sits on top of the rim of the throttle body not inside where it can grab the bearing.

Any chance you still have that bolt?
I got it from a member that bought it new but never opened it. I found it odd that it didn't have "roe" engraved on the top.

The instructions refer to the bolt as "the bolt with the turned down head" my bolt is not turned down. This could be the issue.

Ya man that's your problem I have the bolt you need check your inbox

thanks for the quick response. Pm sent. I've hit up every hardware store in town, there is nothing I can use. I'll pay anything to have it overnighted. My daily driver is down, because my tb is disassembled and the screws are sawed off.
