thankfully my house never flooded, but georgtown got hammerd from what i heard. water was back off the roads by the time i went to work(got to austin about 6)

How about Wade? I l know he said his house floods real bad. Was he in the path?

Friggen heavy rains made me lazy as hell.. No flooding around my area though. I just stayed in the house watching Netflix catching up on some television series stuff. I wonder how San Antonio made out with their rainfall. Oh and Sanchoba down in Corpus.. I hope he didn't deal with anything too harsh being that he's closer to the northeast Mexican border.

dam it jus never stopped all day long lol traffic sucks around here right now good thing my truck in tucked away in the nice warm garage :aetsch:

Yep, had a few out my way that never touched down but tore alot of shit up around me. Thankfully we are fine, but the continuous high winds and 12 inches of rain ripped shingles from my roof and in turn allowing water to run onto the upstairs sheetrock then down to the kitchen where it collected in the insulation and saturated it till the sheetrock said " F it" and fell in!! Just glad my wife or daughter weren't under it when it fell. A handful of wet insulation is at least a couple pounds, and to imagine the force a 4x8 sheet of sheetrock with 6 inches of soaked insulation would have.:(
Anyone know some good contractors/restoration services around these here parts?
