Texas Mile Aerodynamic mod

An 871 blower through that hood would look awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yessir I've had a few messages about how crappy my truck now looks. Idk, its growing on me, lol. Wasn't your drive back looking through that cowl awesome?

Yeah it was pretty cool when the sun was setting behind me, the flames lit up like crazy lol it was awesome!

Sorry to say..... that will not help you with aero.... The hood "vent" allows air to escape without drag. Also helps keep front end down by minimizing the "parachute effect" and maximizing downforce from the splitter on the lower bumper. Low is fast.

Stick with stock configuration. Above all, keep or improve on the front grill and bumper block off's. Tape off or block any seams or gaps on front of truck.
The more air that flows through truck, the slower you will go. I see daylight through your front bumper.... BAD. Also block off your fog light holes (see Trainman's plexi block off's for drag racing).
Keep your rear wing and tailgate up. This will minimize the eddie current drag off the back of your rig. Hell, make an aluminum diffuser for under the back.... sweet looks and massive drag reduction:rock:

Kick some ass and have fun!!:D

Thanks bro. The airbrushed real fire got a lot of attention for sure. Be sure and send people wanting art on their hood bottom my way ;)

Easy killer, its just a joke....

Did you ever install the performance parts on that truck?

Which ones do you speak of? I was going to do a stroker then had a family emergency come up so I had to save all over again. Now I can't decide on which one when I do have enough together. I'm thinking a 400 hemi stroker should do it

Thought you were someone else when I looked at the avatar but he has not posted here in over a year. Never mind go back to sleep.

Why not just drop a blown 7.0 hemi?

Eh, then I've got to get a 6.1 block for core exchange, the buy the stroker, build a tranny and...and... just screw it man lol I want to do a 6spd swap shortly after the install but I have to wait until someone I know get the kit together... After all of that ill try force induction, I've already done the SRT10 rear end swap so the axle should hold.I read somewhere i may need to get the gears cryo'd because they are ify above 550 to the wheels. Anyone heard this also? Not trying to thread jack

Unless your planning on dumping the clutch at high rpms off the line over and over doubt you will have an issue but the t56 is not the way to go if you want to be quick in a ram truck fast sure just not quick.

Where are you located?
