Sorry Bro I am on a mission LOL I missed your post....Doing ok...How are you healing Bro :D

:) I read the threads before I created the account to see what can of worms I was stepping in. Unfortunately I can only control the present, but even in readings Walt's post I read at least he was trying to resolve it and have it shipped back again for the second time. The tech's John had at the time never had John's best interests at heart. I was telling John back then.

Of course I understand Walt's frustration by work promised not being done or being lied to also. I really think the situation was trying to be corrected and Walt, also understandably decided he didn't want to send it back.

Guys like I said none of this is trying to sway anyone, change anyone's mind or anything else. I was just responding to Seth's misleading post.

Dave here is 1 of 11 threads I can dig up for you at a moments notice.....That just deal with Walt in particular. Why would anyone in their right mind want to help him get even richer  New techs aside Bro and of course you as well....How come someone from the new Hennessy ;) simply does not cut the man a refund check as part of " Good Faith " business :dontknow: You say everything is new and improved well prove it send Walt a full refund :marchmellow: That would go a long way in restoring faith in someones new leaf and prove it's not all about the money for him :congrats:

truck is in st louis still have not had the time to go out there more then likely the weekend of the 27th i miss your cute ass too:)

This could get interesting. I don't know any particular detail of any transactions with Hennessy but I did hear he was a crook even before I joined this forum. If there are situations that still need to be resolved then you as New GM of Hennesy you would be well advised to satisfy all past disputes before anybody should give Hennesy another try.

With all due respect your approach to shedding a new light to Hennesy will not take any merit until past disputes are resolved. Getting respect back to Hennesy's name will probably take a long time to rebuild.

Just my .02

I never got to give you a sponge bath...

I need to get you email address later...got my back piece picked out want to show you...hopefully I can get it done with in a year to 15 months. I am thinking probably about 200-250 hours!!!

Dave, your approach is correct. Please understand the past has left some very bitter taste in the atmosphere when your boss is mentioned.

Over time, with patience you may well be able to establish your own reputation here and in the process help ameliorate the harsh memories.

I have seen the twin turbo that was built for Walt...it is now in Madison, WI and is just finishing a complete rebuild...there were some horrible things done in that build.

Please stay and visit often...the Viper performance world is tiny and we need all of the technical perspective we can get...and be patient with us...we have a lot of scars.

I have to agree with Prof. After all, he's one of the most intellegent men on the site.

I have an idea for you Dave. We have had a lot of members lose their engines due to the #3 rod journal oiling problem. John mentioned that he had found a cure, but would not share it with us. Why not tell us what it is. That would at least be a start to repairing the trust that John lost with the majority of us old timers that have personally seen what he has done to some people.

And I have to admit, it took some balls to do what you did.

Really good seeing you here Dave, it's a pleasure to read the few posts you've dropped here thus far. I admit to being one that wouldn't have trusted JH with my bicycle. And that's sad because the bad taste in my mouth wasn't even from personal experience. So I can imagine what those that have dealt with JH must feel. Hopefully your stay here will cause a regain in trust and perhaps, with the new staff you mentioned, some really good work will be seen rolling out the JH shop doors. I am located in Houston, TX and would really appreciate a performance shop I can rely on for great results and service. For me to say, "my SRT-10 AND 8 were both modded by JH successfully," would make all of my current and past ill opinions turn into convictions I can brag about.

Welcome to the site Dave-
I am one of those members, and I agree, so I am personally asking you for the solution to this #3 connecting rod issue. You have been outright asked, and hopefully you will provide the correct answer.:congrats:

Can we just ban Dan now for being a shill? Considering I never posted anything about he whose name we do not speak, I find his comment funny. I just asked if they got better based on things I read here.

I believe Dave's quote back to me in his first response was "Or is it more likely that some people have no clue what they are talking about or are talking out their ass or referring to what they heard from a buddies buddy".

Dave--- I got nothing to hide. I am amongst friends with nothing to prove. Want to post our email exchange, go ahead. All you will show is a prospective customer being treated like crap.

Like I told you yesterday, good job on showing how your company changed.

You clearly stated in your earlier post that JH has built crap for customers until you showed up, how about you man up and at least give Walt back his money. I actually would have given you a chance, because I heard you hired new techs, but like I said yesterday thank you for reminding me why I wouldn't do business with you.

Hennessey isn't good for much.

Sorry Seth...you are wrong.

Guys when I get to the office I will make another post. On the way to the shop now.

I do like how Dave is spending his time cataloging our responses. Didn't even recall posting that one. Maybe he should spend more time doing his job rebuilding the ahem quality of his brand.

Hi Dave

I am the guy that bought Walt's truck. Like Prof said I am just getting done with a complete rebuild. I can tell you every corner that was cut on the build of this truck. For the dollars that were involved in this build, I could not beleve what we found. I don't care how many times this truck got sent back and fourth to Hennessey with the smoking problem. It was not going to be fixed until the journal turbos were switiched over the ball bearing ones, and liquid cooled ones at that. Keeping in mind that it was supposed have ball bearing turbos from the start. I am assumung JH didn't want to fess up to that one. I had the same problem up here so when I sent them to get rebuilt that is when Persision turbo told me they were the wrong ones.

I could go on but you get my drift. Now I did get John H to reinburse me for the turbos ( after I had Walt call him) but I did all of the labor, paid for the other required parts myself. If you want to know what else I found drop me a pm.

I hope you have the ability to clean up the act down there because my truck does did make a Sh#$ load of power ( at least for a little while) and I hope with all that I have changed that it makes more power and make it safe!!!!!!
