Stopped by the local JEEP dealer yesterday and they have two 2008 SRT8 Jeeps. Salesman said they could be had for 10K under sticker! I remember when these things had "bump" stickers on them. Get this, they don't even want to talk about trading for the 10! How quickly things can change!
 
They have a black one on the lot and a blue one in the showroom. I think the black was around 45K and the blue one was 47K. I think they were both DEMOS.
 
Starting is 43K, fully Loaded is 48K. 11 city and 14 HWY based on the new epa system. I think the old sticker was around 16/20.
 
So this means I should be able to pick up a new one fully loaded for about 38K. Maybe I'll look into a preowned one. It seems they have taken a huge hit like our trucks.
 
Dude they were the 5th worst vehicle in 06' :) Not saving any gas there. The 10 was the worst!

They get like 15 on the highway........ get a LX 8 they get 21+ at 70 MPH!
 
One of my students has one and he drives really easy and gets about 21. But with 0-60 at 4.5 seconds wet or drive I would be forced to drive it hard.

My '07 Jeep SRT was ever so slightly more "thrifty" than my 10 on mileage. Highway would never break 16 MPG, even at constant and reasonable speeds (65 MPH) and around town mixed mileage was right at 12.5 MPG. If I drove it like I had a bald eagle egg under the gas pedal I couldn't get it to do any better. Driving it like an idiot (which was real easy to do, for several reasons :D ) got me under 10. Didn't care much though, the looks on some people's faces were priceless...
 
My 8 gets 15-16 city 15 me driving and 16 ali driving

and 20-21 at 70 mph. and man yall got to love the 60 punch in a 8, the truck aint bad either :)

No Spam here, but I use FireFox........................ IE should only be kept around so hacks keep hacking it and leave firefox alone!
 
well hell im doing good my green carbon foot print is the same as my shoe size 12 ,,,how you like that mr gore???:congrats:
 
my dodge durango doesn't get better gas mileage than an srt-8, so it's really not that bad.
