A couple of months ago I posted a story about a Camaro Z-28 that had beaten me. Here is a small recap of the story. He chalenged me in town at a light and I spanked him bad. He stopped where I was parked and asked if I wanted to try again. I said yes, so we went to race. He left me out of the hole about 3 car lengths and beat me by about 1/2 a car length in a 1/4. He said he was stock but, I was wondering. Well this past weekend I had the chance to see for myself. IT WAS SUPERCHARGED. That bastard lied. I think he was a little embarraced that an almost stock truck almost beat him. He still avoids me now on the street. Well just a little update I thought you might be interested in.

Yeah it's not all that close with a stock or near stock Z28 or SS.

get a NOS kit for 599....run a 50 or 100 shot and you will KILL him...Look at Zex srt10....he's running 11's with just a shot. If u run a 100 shot you will drop1.5 sec in the 1/4

But for how long? I know the internals in our motors may be prone to bursting out of the block when pushed too hard, I wouldn't want to risk it before all internals were replaced with better aftermarket parts.

I thought the same but those guys have been sprayin a long time...no problems yet. I THINK if u keep it conservative like 100 shot or so....u shouldnt hurt anything.

I'll look into that ZEX kit. I would love to surprise him. I think I could possibly even beat him now that I have the Flash and 4.56 gears. I may try just for the hell of it. I was only beaten by a fender or so.
